P. S. Shonisaurus was actually the biggest animal for around 60 million years. The Shonisaurus was the biggest animal in the Triassic, Then the Jurassic period, where the titanosaurs like Giraffatitan and Barosaurus were the biggest animals around in the jurassic, including Diplodocus.
In the Cretaceous period, the Argentinosaurus was the biggest living object to exist.

ok the video is good but ther is one problom the spinosaurus does NOT live in the water my opinon
the spinosaurus lives on land and has long legs not small legs and the fin should be more circilur
so it woud be good if you fix that and if it had a more t rex tail

reply

Bruh look at the mouth. The mouth of Shoshone lizard ( _Shonisaurus_ ) is long, while the mouth on Mount Shasta lizard ( _Shastasaurus_ ) is short.
S. sikaniennsis has a short mouth, which resembles Shastasaurus.
Also Sikaniennsis is not 25m.

Amazing video! I have one critiuqe tho: tylosaurus was the largest type of mosasurus. The largest mosasurus specimen on display is Bruce. He was 14 meters long and was a tylosaurus.

Hybodontidae (1: 14 - 1: 20) certainly had a good 300 million year run. It got past 3 mass extinctions but couldn't get past the K-T.

I don-t think some of the creatures are scaled correctly here. For example, shastasaurus is supposed to be bigger that shonisaurus
reply

In case u missed something, shastasaurus is the largest marine reptile. He should be at the end of the comparison
reply

Shastasaurus was much bigger. In fact, Shastasaurus sikkanniensis was the largest marine reptile that ever lived!

If Mosasaur could kill T-Rex then Pliosaur could definitely rip T-Rex in two half with his way bigger jaws

Is there a book that summarize it including the maps and great illustrations that you shared here? thanks
