The Devonian Period (420- 358 Million years ago) is also known as the era of Fish, since this was the the time these primordial vertebrates radiated into multiple clades, like the armored Placoderms, the first Sharks or the group that would give origin to all Tetrapods, the Sarcopterygii. These early tetrapods evolved lungs and took their first steps on a land that was still almost barren, until then only colonized by the earliest plants, some arthropods and giant fungi. This period ended in a massive extinction

People are focusing heavily on dunkleosteus being shrunk without realizing that the same study that shrinks it, would also apply to the other large placoderms.
Really the whole Devonian sea got shuffled around, and if the study holds true, then there really wouldn't have been any super large fauna.

I think you should do contemporaries. Like, -Dinosaurs that lived with Tyrannosaurus Rex-, and, -Dinosaurs that lived with Allosaurus-.
It's cool to see what lived in the cretaceous for example, but its such a huge time period that its hard to know what actually lived alongside iconic dinosaurs.

Since life began, there have been ages where one kind of animal rules supreme. First it was sea scorpions, then fish, then amphibians, then insects, then dinosaurs/ reptiles, then mammals, now man. And eventually, man will die out and a new animal will be the dominant ones.

I love all the placoderm fish and primitive sharks that look like absolute surreal fever dream creations - it makes you wonder what fantastical looking species we DON'T know about and might never since only a few things are ever fossilized.

You should do a size comparison of the Animals from the Walking With. series like somebody suggested. Maybe you can also throw in there Animals from the Walking With Dinosaurs Wonderbook video game

Can you do Ordovician next? Just a suggestion.
Edit: You don't have to do Ordovician period, but if you want, you can. Btw, your videos are good, keep up the great work! -

Hard to believe that the largest animal in the devonian period was a colossal map of the cretaceous period lol
