Sex is at the heart of everything. It-s the only real way of leaving a legacy, in the genes of the future. But there-s more than just the act. During the build up to it, wildlife shows its incredible diversity. Hormones and sex drive are forces that shape behaviour and can change an animal-s purpose and persona. Sex is the driving force throughout nature. Birds do it, bees do it, and let-s face it, they are not the only ones!
Mark: Its of great interest to witness all those animals precoital rituals performed by instinct taking place once a year EXCEPT FOR BONOBOS in the rainforest of the Congo. The bonobo is the exception to the rule being genetically quite similar to us ( unto 98-99%, human beings! They engage in the act of coitus not due to the instinct, but for that pleasurable & blissful feelings of satisfaction & enjoyment, Tantamount to that of us, humans, And so a bit awkward & embarrassing to witness, Thoroughly enjoyed & admired it again, My gratitude to all concerned in the creation of this episode teeming w/ a wealth of the intrigue & enigma, I cant help appreciating this excellent & humorous script writer along w/ that uniquely & cynically toned effective narrator, From California(9/08/22) Date: 2022-12-30
