In Episode 4 of the Return of the Bible Plagues series, we explore the phenomenon of the Locusts Plague. Swarms of locusts still afflict drought areas, especially after a rare rainfall, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. In Africa, this regularly leads to disastrous famines. Researchers all over the world are looking for new, more effective ways to combat the invaders

I was laughing my ass off during this doc. 41: 49 -The helicopters are loading up with poisons designed to spare the environment-. right. That's why it's called -poison-, because it spares the environment. Humans will look back on this time with the same disgust as when we were trying to annihilate the Jews, or when we were testing nuclear bombs; it will only come back to bite you in the back. Besides. isn't it weird that the human species is complaining about -plague species- while humankind is the worst -plague- upon this planet (and now looking for other planets)? Everything bad they say is caused by the locusts, humanity does too only a thousand times worse. We spray, gas and bomb the entire planet so as to ruin the world for those generations coming after us. Also in a lot of your documentaries -scientists- are doing animal testing, animal experiments or using animals as slaves for humans. do you support or fund these researches apart from the fact that you're paying to have their results documented for the documentary? Another thing is; the biblical story of Moses was centered around the Pharaoh Ramesses II. He was one of ancient Egypt's greatest pharaohs and welfare was on it's highest peaks of Egypt's history. It is well known how many grain silo's there were in that time, many have been found and studied. Please don't base your scientific research on mythical stories and take those stories as a solid base for what happened. It's an interesting documentary but it only shows how bad mankind is when they have to deal with another species that's even anywhere near as destructive as we are and then talk about it on camera as if locusts in this case are doing something which is so bad, so diabolical. They're only trying to survive and I must give it to them; in a world with rising sea levels, rising temperatures, natural environments and habitat loss, fewer and fewer species, uninviting mono-culture, rising CO2 levels, humans on every single piece of ground AND they're trying to murder off your species. I'd say the locusts have it way worse then any farmer (who is prevented from) making a killing by murdering off domesticated animals and spraying the environment regardless. Humanity is the only -plague- on this planet.

I think global warming at past & nowadays has main relationships to this plague. climate change & destruction of natural balancing of ecosystems are causes this horrible phenomenon

Why can't these documentaries be in ONE language! The subtitles are just so distracting. Breaks the continuity of the documentary and adds absolutely NOTHING to the flim.
