Another great video but only one minor correction if you will. The byzantine general George Maniaces finally left Italy not to surpress rebellions in the empire but he was in rebellion himself, after the new emperor confiscated his lands and his wife was raped. Maniaces was the best byzantine general of his time and as you can imagine large part of the army supported him and crowned him Basileus. In the ensuing battle against the Imperial forces he was winning but as fate would have he was killed seemingly just as the imperial forces were going to collapse, in fact during the chase.
Something also worth pointing out. After the Normans revolted Maniaces briefly returned to Italy capturing many cities and severely threatening the revolt when the events mentioned above happened. His rival Romanos Skleros with the support of Emperor Constantine Monomachos raided his lands and raped his wife which marked the start of his rebellion.

Its like they only gave you 2 maps and 5 pictures, and you had to use only those as the visual aids in a 6 minute video. Really? Better idea: Just show us maps of the areas you are narrating when you are narrating them (and maybe show arrows of movements of peoples, armies, borders, etc on those maps. It would be more helpful than KenBurnsing through 7 stills for 6 minutes.

Descendants of Our Rolo, who fathered Normandy with Frankish blood, also sought riches in Mediterranea! ? Exciting!
