Although it's amazing, there is a lot of weirdness going on with the colorization that needs to be fixed. It's most noticeable on the skin, since we know what color it should be and are paying attention to it, but it's happening on most anything moving. It's still great, but lots of room for improvement, as well. I'd like to see it stabilized and sharpened, but still the original black and white, and see how that looks.

Why does everyone like these shitty ---enhanced--- old films so much? Its awful ---colorization--- that isnt at all accurate to real life and terrible 60 FPS interpolation that causes awful looking smears and messes up the lip synching with the vocals. This is just as poor quality as the original, if not worse. Only redeeming thing about it is the reduction of the film grain.

Whats wild is that in the black & white video and photos of the 40's even young people looked much older than they do now. With this restoration a lot of that feeling is gone.

The most impressive part of all this is how crisp and smooth it plays on high definition. Whoever worked on this did an incredible job.
