Vlad The Impaler - How did he become a legend? (Part 2/2) DOCUMENTARY the comment section is to toxic, here take a icecream before you check it,
and oh a quick reminder you are going to see many angry turks claiming that Vlad was just a barbarian, and praise Genghis Khan
and romanians wanting him back to life to kill politicians, all of them arguing with eachother,

It's very sad that after he made peace with the Stephen the Great, his cousin, the situation changed like that. Stephan sholud have given him a contingent of at least 5000men to smooth his way to the throne. It was Stephan mistake
Together with Stephan they could have achieved even greater things

I was always told that he died of natural causes on a remote island not far from the capital. It was said that he placed a pot of gold out in the open and that he declared that the pot will never be touched whilst he was alive. The pot remained untouched until his death.

only one thing here is maybe not truth. Vlad died in his castle(maybe poisoned or died for wounds, but not killed, and before he died he cursed that castle)and thats why we now got legend of count Drakula(vampire.

Never forget Vlad III and his bravery. I am Romanian and I-ll consider him a national model for heroism. Even today the name Vlad is still very popular in Romania.

I know this probably isn-t the right place to ask, but why didn-t Hungary protect Transylvania from Vlad? You-d think the King would be unhappy with it.
reply

That was amazing, all I ever knew about Vlad before this was that he was the inspiration for Dracula and that he impaled people, lots of people.

I wonder what he could accomplished if vlad was in the crusades. With 30000 he butchered 120000, imagine with all europe under his rulership
reply

LOL at the way the Ottomans are portrayed. They didn't wear those shitty fantasy helmets. They wore -chichak- helmets in the 15th century.

Vlad Tepes has such a captivating history. I'm just drawn to it for some reason. He was definitely a courageous and fearless warrior!

So he was betrayed by his brother cousin half brother and Allie-s? He could of made some real power moves but he didn-t have any support.

why my city is written on the map in hungarian while all others from Transylvania has their romanian name, Turda not Torda

What about Stephan The Great? When will you do a series about him? I can't wait to see it if you decide to make it!
reply

Still up to this day, cocksuckers western rulers never helped, but come to squize the land for resources!
reply

Because he was able to defeat the Ottomans or Turks in a way that most other controllers could or have not
