Is Iran losing to Azerbaijan?
Are you kidding!

appreciate the work but these videos almost seem --boring-- to me.
1. telling what year something happened but simply not writing it.
2. nice but incredibly repetitive artwork. you can easily foresee what's coming next.
3. out of context music choices. the whole video feels like -winter is coming-, doesn't matter if you're talking about a sultan strangled to death or building mosques.
4. if there were no pronunciation mistakes, one could simply think the video is voiced by a robot.

Shah Ismail was from the Lor Iranian tribe. He was born in Azerbaijan, Iran and studied Shahnameh Khani and the religion of Zoroaster in Tabarestan, Iran.
During his rule, he launched Shahnameh Khani in the country
And he chose the names of all his children from Shahnameh Parsi and Avesta
Like Shah Tahmourth

My God, why can't you just have a little rehearsal with your narrator and teach them the correct pronunciation of names, places and adverbs, for that matter. I mean, really, 'sub-SEEK-wently'? When on Earth did THAT become the pronunciation of that word?

I found a 1689 manjir ottoman empire coin in a hoard of roman coins. im starting to think roman coins were buried in the ground by the new conquering people and they purposely threw a couple of there coins in the hole as well.

12: 02 -coming from macedonia and bulgaria-
Are you using XXI century names to describe the locations? You should probably add Greece and Serbia.
The eyalets where the uprisings were were called Rumelia and Silistra.

2: 16 I noticed that Ankara was on the map of 1600's - 1700's anatolia. Ankara would have been an extremely minor settlement at that time, for all intents and purposes, it wouldn't have existed.

Please, do more extensive research about Safavids and Shirvanshahs. They were not persion, but also turkic. Both leaders and nations were of oghuz turks. Thanks for your attention.
reply

P. s Safavids were not only Persians, but also Azerbaijani Turks. Safavids were turkish people. Shah Ismail's ancestors came from Turks. Kizilbashs were turkish troop in Safavids.

The sound effects of strangulation and death throes are extremely childish! They detract from what would otherwise be a useful history of the Ottoman Empire during this period.

The most mistake of the Ottomans that they conquered to many areas and extended so much land. So it was the so hard to led entire lands by the one capital.

Educational and informative, BUT your accent/pronunciation is distracting.
Maybe review names and terms with an expert before you record your audio?

reply

Mostly because of wars with Persia they're borders changed a whole lot until the 1700. Just going back and forth like a judo match or something.

There is one mistake at 12: 00 as there existed no state of Macedonia or a Macedonian ethnicity back at the 17th century (or prior.

Ottoman stagnated because they stopped winning. No winning, no war booty. No war booty, no money to run the government.

Power transfer by hereditary nepotism tainted by corruption and inbreeding never seems to end well for an Empire.
