You are publishing about the Ottoman Empire, Turkiye and Turks; but you do not add automatic Turkish translation to it, this is a serious shame! Those who know foreign languages like me can see the knowledge, mistakes, ignorance and prejudices of foreigners on these issues, but those who are much more knowledgeable than me on these issues, especially on the level of history and international politics, but do not have enough foreign language skills, have difficulty giving you more accurate information or intervening by giving information about how some issues are interpreted from other perspectives. Indeed, as third parties, not commenting on such issues, let alone making videos, and not turning on automatic translation in the native language of the people who are the real addressees of the issue or not adding it as an option is perceived as an insult rather than a shame!

Turkey as a country has committed horrible crimes to the native greeks, anatolians, and Armenians, and used tactics such as ethnic cleansing and full on genocide to ensure they controlled the Anatolian peninsula. They aren't native to the lands they occupy having invaded these lands during the Turkish migration. The celebration of these criminals in the comment section is disturbing and disgusting. I know hundreds of the drones who help Turkey perpetuate the lies they spew will say, but the Greeks and Armenian rebels were taking their lands! No those lands where held by those groups till they were violently ejected from them in WW1 by the ruling Turks. The Turks were never an underdog or the oppressed they were always the oppressor

By the Greek perspective. The country was in a long national schism. 2 Factions. The Liberals under P. M Eleftherios Venizelos under whom Greece gained land in the balkan wars and WW1. And the Monarchists who were just Anti-venizelists centered around King Constantine who had a Fallout with Venizelos. After The treaty of Sevres Venizelos lost the Election and the Inexperienced and useless Monarchists came to power. And with them many many of the army officers were replaced. That was the end for us.

While anyone who fought so hard and deserved so much wanted to be the head of somewhere and be someones master, Gazi Mustafa Kemal was a great man who preferred to be a slave for his nation, not only a soldier, but also a revolutionary, writer, thinker and ideologist. The current Turks do not deserve such a perfect person. He was an open-minded and progressive man who became an example to many leaders both during his lifetime and after his death.
edit: ethnic map is incredibly inaccurate

It was a battle of salvation to not lose the honor of independence. Turks was at their lowest point in their long history. The last Turkic country on earth was in a great danger. Fortunately, they knew what to do as the last act and defended their homeland against the great powers of the time. WW1 may have ended the age of empires, but a new Turkish Republic born from the ashes. Today, after 100 years later, they once again come back to the world stage together with friendly countries.

While the majority of the local population, the Turks, called and calling Smyrna Izmir and Constantinople Istanbul for since 400-500 years ago, and have owned these places for at least 500 years, why do you still use the Greek names of these places from 1000 years ago When you come to Turkiye, you cannot find the places you want to go to with these names even with navigation! It has be a prejudiced and ignorant video with the greek name!

Erdogan: I declare that you say Turkiye in English to make it more Turkish-sounding because nationalism!
Americans: Look, we obey, that means we know foreign culture! How advanced we are!
Everyone else: Fuhck that Erdogan, we'll keep using the word that we have for Turkey in our own language, just like you do with the names of countries in every language on Earth.

Chuvash Lenin's role was also extremely clinical eradicating the Romanovs and abandoning their anti-Turkish policies of supporting Armenian rebels in the East and Greek incursions in Western Anatolia, drastically switching the policy by aiding the Turkish leadership against entente backed Greek forces and Armenian militas. There are levels to this game

We have to admit that the turkish military fought efficiently with the aid of the commies, even though big scale extermination campaigns of the native Christian population (Greek, Armenian, were perpetrated at the same time, by militia and paramilitary groups with the direct involvement of Talaat, Enver and Djemal pashas.

For me it looks like Mustafa Kemal had a secret deal with the Brits. If we look what happened next that makes sense. Latin Alphabet, modern Republic etc. and since then part of the Western World.
I mean the deal was clear, Turks vs Greeks, winner takes it all.

This ethnic map is full of mistakes. This map is from wikipedia and the map uploaded there has no sources for it at all. Cities like Bursa and Erzurum were overwhelmingly Turkish. And Constantinople itself didnt have a greek majority but a Turkish plurality.

I wish you wouldve mentioned how the new Turkish government was pro turk thus anti nearly all other minorities which then led to genocide of most minorities. These things can't be overlooked when talking about the creation of Turkey. Shame.

After this date, the Arabic traces were erased, the Arabic alphabet, Arabic names, etc. The Turks began to regain their true identity, and as of 2024, they began to return to the Tengri religion they had believed in for 3000 years.

The Turks are happy that they defeated 5 countries equally, but France and Italy changed sides in 1921 and sided with the Ankara Government, and the Turks do not know this, and the USSR supports the Ankara Government.

The compass of the Turks in the war is either independence or death. Every Turkish citizen is a soldier. That is why the Turkish nation is called an army nation. We have been raised this way since childhood

Turkish War of Liberation not independence war, there's huge difference between two. And people on Internet keep using inaccurate terms regarding history and social sciences is getting seriously concerning.

The Greek invasion of Western Anatolia has to be the most delusional irredentist campaign I can think of like the regions only Greek majority areas were 2-3 villages in Izmir/Smyrna. Greece was bound to lose

Why
Because, depside all negatives the Turks have OO, big ones!
And we, Christians of the Balkans know them very well:
They are terrible, horrific enemies or great friends and loyal to death.

Turkey is the final kingdom in Daniel. It appeared as though it were struck a deathblow or head wound but would recover. It now sits as one of the top 10 militaries right now and nobody notices
