An issue that many get wrong:
Stefan The Great never went to war with his cousin, Vlad The Impaler, over Chilia.
When Stefan and the Ottomans joined forces (on paper) to conquer Chilia, Vlad The Impaler was busy doing the famous Night Attack against the >200 000 strong Ottoman army which invaded Wallachia. Chilia was by right Stefan's to rule but for numerous reasons it fell under the domain of King Mathias Corvinus, an ally of Vlad but unfriendly neighbor to Stefan. Mathias, in order to avoid conflict with Stefan, donated Chilia to Vlad, Mathias' uncle by marriage and more than a friend to Stefan. When Stefan was still a child and Vlad in his late teens, the King of Moldova was assassinated by his brother Petru Aron. It was Vlad The Impaler, already a skilled warrior at that age, who helped Stefan escape. The two maintained friendly relations throughout their lives and the reason why Stefan removed his ally and proxy Basarab IV was because he was the one that betrayed Vlad The Impaler to the Ottomans and had him assassinated.
Why people still promote the lie that Stefan and Vlad fought each other is because of communist propaganda that was never really challenged. When the Soviets stole Eastern Moldova, a strong anti-Romanian propaganda campaign was forced onto the Moldovans in order to quell any desire to join back with the Western Moldovans. Stefan and Vlad are two of Romania's greatest heroes and their unwavering bond echoes the strong bond between Moldovans and Wallachians. The Soviets had to attack this historical fact in order to push their propaganda so they spun the lie that that Stefan and Vlad were in conflict at some point. Yes Chilia was under Vlad's rule. Yes Stefan conquered Chilia. But what is omitted is that Vlad never bothered defending Chilia from his cousin and there were no Wallachian soldiers stationed at Chilia. Chilia was exclusively run by Hungarians when Stefan attacked it.

Your map is wrong because Transylvania had the same status, that is, it was ruled by a princepe and more or less a vassal of Hungary, just as Wallachia and Moldavia, including Stephen the Great, were vassals of the Ottoman Empire, but never of the Pashaliks, and Poland. Stephen the Great first defeated King Matthias Corvinus of Hungary in the battle of Baia 1467, from where the king escaped from being killed with the help of the Romanians from Maramures. Then he defeated the Tatar army led by Khan Mamac in the Battle of Lipnic 1469, and next defeats the Ottoman Empire army led by Suleiman Pasa in the battle of the Podul Inalt 1475, and last from most important, the King of Poland Ioan I Albert in the battle of Codrii Cosminului 1497.

tephen the Great, the Prince of Moldavia, did defeat the Ottoman Empire. His most famous victory was the Battle of Vaslui in 1475, where he decisively defeated a much larger Ottoman army. This victory earned him the title Champion of Christ and solidified his reputation as a defender of Christendom

Saya suka sejarah.

It's crazy how these European Noble bickered among each other instead of uniting to fight off the Turks and drive them back. heck! they could have even retaken Constantinople.

Romanians still wait for the heaps of gold promised by the Popes for defending the boundaries of Christianity. Until today not 1 coin has arrived.

They're so resilient that, in modern Spanish, we don't call them Moldova, but we still use the old name of Moldavia. So there's that.
