I'm not sure what the correct term its called when classical composers would play scales it was based on breaking up the scale into groups of notes like groups of 3 notes. If the scale has 12 notes the classical composer would play the scale in 3 note groupings or 4 notes groupings. I'm not sure if this is called -Cells- or what, but I think Paganini is the one that started grouping 5 notes and 6 notes into a sequence and moving that sequence to the next scale degree.

I'm not sure how pentatonic scale works. I found on the internet that Major pentatonic scale is made from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th notes from the major scale. does it work that way too ??
from your video, how to determine 5 notes, which is pentatonic scale ??

In the key of A major the C# will NOT work with the IV chords D major because the C# to D is a minor 2nd interval and in blues the 7th degree is flatted so the C# is an avoid note for the IV chord D. So what do you substitute the C# with for the IV chord?

Fun fact: The Thunderbirds theme song is composed in the F minor Pentatonic Scale.
In fact, the Thunderbirds soundtrack tends to transpose between pentatonic scales quite frequently.
