Now I finally understand why my mom was worried when I stopped drawing backgrounds at elementry school: she suspected me becoming antisocial or autistic in some way. Then again I was just lazy. The more your skills develop the more time you take for your art - and I just wanted to focus more on the characters than on the backdrops. To calm my mom, I forced myself to draw uninspired backgrounds and it just stressed me out. Today as an artist I view painting backdrops like cleaning the house: people don't recognize them when they're done good. They only notice them when they're done bad. They take a lot of time I don't have and are exhausting. So I still usally don't do them unless I really, truly want to. I actually prefer cleaning my house.

I tend to draw characters. Whether animals or people, usually dark. Ex: Higuchi from BSD, The Soulless King (OC, Shiko (OC, etc. I don't use colors unless I'm drawing on my PC, in which I use dark colors with intimidating characters. I especially love drawing misty nights with stars and galaxies. I draw all sorts of flowers and things like timid demons or such. My latest artwork had a dragon, mushroom, lake, crystal, birds, and clouds. Came out lovely. I love art.
Hope I inspired someone to make something nice!

i like to draw small stickman with fire (like superpower, and angry pose) on both up and bottom of the page, like to draw shadows, like both style of arrows, like square and rounded shapes, dont like to draw face(like if i make a character, i usually just left it without a face, like dark green and light blue and black colors. so what does that mean.

Hypothetically theoretically what if I drew a hyper realistic foot with anime eyes a smirking mouth with a pointy chin and goatee also with cheekbones and tried to start to make a mustache with 2 circles and instead decided to make it the nose and added but cheeks to the heel, yknow but like hypothetically theoretically imaginatively

me, who makes detailed sketches of cats/dragons/any animal and literally NEVER draws objects and never completes my sketches nor adds color to them at all: ?
(i also make my drawings someone in a traumatizing/deadly situation or dying or being injured, and sometimes happy characters. depends on the music i listen to)

My doddles are literally just random black lines I draw in frustration that I then connect to each other to make a bigger picture because I can't draw neatly and I have the worst handwriting of all my classes which frustrates me because I'm a sophomore and I can't even understand what I wrote
