A creative thinker is someone who thinks outside the box. Are you wondering if you're a creative thinker or do you want to become a creative thinker? If so, there are actually five types of creative thinkers

All of them in this order (from strongest to weakest) [4, ] [5, ] [3, 2, 1]. My brain is either very busy or I completely tune it down and go blank for everything but most basic function and perception of senses. Giving myself breaks is a struggle, though I'm managing OKish. I'll easily start analysing, poking, prodding, testing and rearranging things in my head even with freetime activities. Watching movies, reading, being in social contact, lucid dreaming. Nothing is shallow. Everything in my world is of incredible depth, yet all systems are ultimately very similar, simple and elegant, universal. It's equally neverending fascinating and boredom in state of acceptance.
Did you yet have a video on how cherishing the little differences in life can save highly intelligent/perceptive/creative people from states of stagnation? The later being caused by either too many options/possibilities (to actually act/start/get involved) or too few (due to being able to look through things down to their simple and elegant origin.

I'm an inspirational thinker. I came up with 2 stories with characters of their own. And whenever i feel bored, i start thinking to entertain myself with my stories (i don't really have stories stories, but i do have each characters story, personality and role) and i actually get so entertained with them, that when i go to sleep, i stay awake for as much as i can to just entertain myself with them. And my dream in a future, is create my own animated series with ONE of these stories, or maybe both. I got inspired to create these two stories by Five Nights at Freddy's fanmade stories, and zootopia, i know it sounds weird, but my characters just came up out of nowhere with FNAF and zootopia. I'll try to work hard to make my stories become a reality.

Anybody else have ADHD and feel like their type of creativity/thinking changed once they started medication as an adult?
I feel like I lost some aesthetic thinking and gained some systematic thinking and have a touch of the rest. But I keep trying to do the aesthetic stuff because its what ive known and loved most of my life. I think thats whats been causing this rift inside me and urges to quit my medication.

Im the number two. I need very specific and odd scenarios when I suddenly unlock my brain and pour out ideas like a fountain. And when I step out of that scenario, I am again constrained by the whole world.
I mean for reals. Wrote a short 200 (ish) page book once. Never would have done it were it not for the sudden storms of creativity during those 55min train trips I did back then, once a week.

Isnt insparational thinker just an outside the box thinker? Lets say i had an idea but it has an issue, i think about it for some time and then i put it in the background, 1-7 days later with mostly background thinking almost unnoticable, boom you came up with a solution, the time depends on the complexity of the problem usually
reply

I have a tiny bit from all, but im probably mostly the first one/the Lateral thinker
Though Aesthetical thinker is close since I like math and art and I write my own stories
But i hate instruments
I like listening to music and all, but I cannot make it myself to save the universe and all the donuts

reply

I think I am a divergent thinker, which is a bit of an issue, because I have so many thoughts as to how an improvised story could start and what could happen next in the story but I just can't decide what should happen next. It makes it difficult to improvise
reply

I'm probably both an inspirational and aesthetical thinker. Maybe also divergent since I tend to be open to multiple solutions to problems as long as the solution that's settled on makes everyone involved as happy as possible.
reply

I am a divergent thinker! I always thought i am very weird because i really tend to get lost in my own world when i am brainstorming because whenever i think of something new another solution or things cames into my mind.
reply

Im the fifth thinker!
Also Im daydreaming all the time like during a boring class or when my iPad is charging! Sometimes when I daydream in class everyone thinks Im sleeping.

reply

This is what every single school in the world should know, they expect students to be all 5 of those, and the student have only one or two, and they failed.
What an actual scam.

reply

can you be both, because i feel like im more of a systematical thinker but rndom things just come to me like and inspirational thinker? but that may just be my adhd and add
reply

Could you please tell me the application or software used to make this video.
Is there any suggestion of free apps, for such pictorial presentations and videos?

reply

Aesthetical thinker yay! I love to write stories and poems. I can sing but I'm not sure about my songwriting skills. Stories though, I've been great at them.
reply

Im the creative thinker no one knows, the person who turns all of their apps onto light mode at 4am to have a flashlight it lights up the whole continent.
reply

To be honest, I can relate to all of these types. But I'd like to think that the aesthetical thinker is where my strong point is.
reply

I feel like I am an inspirational and aesthetical thinker. I will sometimes think of the weirdest things out of nowhere.
reply

The Lateral Thinker.
The most common type of creative thinkers.
Yet there were only 5% who think they are that.

reply

So the fact j come up with new stories and ideas for games and movies all the time isn't on here? Good to know
reply

What if your brain never shuts off. and you think in multiple if not all of these processes every day?
