There's this guy that I've had a crush on since 8th grade in 2019. He moved to another school and we've lost contact for about 9 months. We haven't seen each other in over a year and a half. I called him to apologize for what happened in 8th grade. My friend wanted to ask him something. She asked him if he still liked me and I wanted to leave expecting him to say Sorry but I don't see her in that way anymore but my friend insisted that I stayed so I did and I heard him say he likes me more than any other girl in the whole world. I was really happy to hear that but I was really confused. We never really text each other often and he must have met other girls that are way better than me. Is he actually in love with me? I don't understand what so great about me in the first place. I just don't know how he could like me so easily I honestly feel the same way but im still pretty confused cause it's still kinda new to me.

Interesting facts, too bad I don't believe that love exists anymore, got my heart shattered too many times. I won't lie, I really do want to feel love and have someone by my side to help me with my problems, problem is, I've been used to the loneliness, emptiness, sadness, that I reject the love my parents show me, because they are the one's who killed it in the first place. Hopefully I will feel love in the near future cause I'm not feeling very well now, feeling like dying and that's it. But like I said, amazing work, mates, I really enjoy watching these videos they relax me and help me out a bit.

To be fair, science CAN and DOES explain all this. A while back I was considering doing a masters in Cognitive Neuroscience and while reading up about it I found that all this stuff - feelings of attraction, attachment, nurturing etc - what our society calls love is all triggered by neurotransmitters. It's only our society that has redefined this scientific reaction as love for various political and economic reasons. There isn't anything mysterious about any of it. Fact is, love doesn't exist, only chemical reactions do.

From the moment I realized I love him, the only feeling I get is anxiety what if we would never met again? what if he would disappear from my daily life suddenly? I have these anxieties when he is absent the class and when he gives me chance to get closer to him. When he gives me butterfly moment, firstly I feel so happy then immediately I feel worrry that if I wouldn't get that kinda moments again. All the rest of my life, I thought that love is delightful. I've been in love once. About a year or so. but like ot was hard because we were so so different. There was barley any similarities. weird thing I met the wrong one at the wrong time and evreything happens for a reason.
