Awesome project. You know, while I didn't have anyone die in my life yet, I've always felt terrified of death with me and my loved ones. It makes me still cry when I think about it, as I'm really fearful to see everyone I love leave. My pets, my father, my brother, my mother. Heck, I don't even know if my grandma and other relatives are still alive, as it has been years I've seen them when I was younger and happier. I feel scared to deal with grief one day, whenever someone leaves. I feel scared to leave one day, whenever I leave and die. It makes me feel out of control, and when I do deal with grief, I know it won't be pretty. I'm already a sensitive individual, and I feel a bit unhopeful for whenever I encounter the journey of dealing with grief. In terms of old age, my dog is 8 years old, and she's a big dog. She's got a few more years, but when she dies, that's it. My dog's gone. Even for just a pet, I still cry when I think about it. And I will cry more and more, whenever it actually happens.

It's not that easy to just move on. I lost my brother 3 yrs ago then, my only real friend that was like a mother figure passed in August 2021, then about 7 months after her passing, my adopted mother passed in March '22, I was adopted after my biological mom passed when I was 12, then 2 months after my adopted mom my pops (pedo) passed, bringing back all these children hood traumas, then a yr goes by n it's 1 yr anniversary of my mom's passing when we get a call my mother in law is going on hospice and passed 6 days later March '23 which happened to be the wk of my mom's 1 yr. So I also have a grieving husband. And idk how to cope with life anymore n taking care of him to while still trying to parent, n raise my autistic son who is hitting puberty. All of this has been extremely hard and they didn't really say how to move on, in this video. So it's like a false title in a way. Still great video, but it's not that easy I'm still stuck. Xoxoxo

Given I have been crying for a whole hour because my brother died a year ago, my father figure not six months ago l. This made me pause enough to see my face. Puffy eyes, red face. I leaned on my friend whom I was supposed to visit so much I am thankful she hasn't given up on me. It hurts so much to think he is not here and I can't call my friend because she needs to recover from burnout. I do wish I wasn't alone. We were supposed to go Europe. He to Spain, me Latvia. It's not fair definitely. I want to do what we planned even if it means me being alone, because he may be gone he is still in my heart.

It s been two years since I lost my dad. 18 months since I early miscarried my baby, and 15 months since I lost my mother in law. I can t even look at photos of my dad, it upsets me so much. I cry everyday, I don t know how a human can have so many tears. I try talking to my husband but he finds it difficult. I have to carry on everyday for my 4 year old son but on the inside I just don t understand life anymore. I m not getting better the more time passes. Its actually harder because the void they leave behind is greater.

I m a little surprised Psych2Go - I love your content but the idea of moving on especially with grief, I don t think there is a thing. I have lost both my parents young, I know grief well I don t think I will ever move on, I think like trauma it s about integration. It doesn t mean it doesn t stop hurting, the waves of grief hit hard and randomly.
This was a lovely short film, it does convey the pain I experience too. I recognize that grief is different for everyone too

My brother committed suicide a little over a year ago. I have never lost the feeling that he is not gone, he is still around, simply somewhere else, where I am not. I feel guiltily lucky to feel this way when I see my mum still struggling. I only wish she could feel how I do.

Lost an old classmate and friend of mine back in highschool last August. I've recently found his death a month after, He's a good man and spent the final days of his life with his GF. Atleast his suffering ended on earth and be in peace in heaven.

I feel like this is a bit simplistic. It's not that easy to simply move on. Grief involves emotional stages that need to be worked through, then re-worked through until we reach a place of solace where we can move on.

You never get over a loss, you can try to gather up the pieces and move on. but it's never the same. The grief will always be there, you have to fight everyday to not let it consume you, I've lost so much, so I know.

My girlfriend of seven years passed away in 2022 and my little sisters husband passed away last month from cancer. I've been doing my best to help her through the pain and I think sharing this will help her.

I really loved the message based on moving on, maintaining pre-established plans! Someone's goodbye, however painful it may be, must not take away our ambitions

My grandpa passed away yesterday. Some people have already moved on. But I am still here, sitting and crying, missing him so much. What happen with me?

From personal experience, the only thing that helps with healing is time and it cannot be rushed. It may take months or even years to fully heal.

Wha? She said she doesn't have to move on and she can do what they planned and then last move on splash on the screen what does that mean?
