Can rapidly changing facial expressions as well opposed to having none at all? Like smiling, making an uncomfortable face, laughing, then looking serious, and back to smiling in a matter of 1-2 seconds?
Someone I know had an episode last year and was catatonic, literally walking like a zombie with their arms outstretched, and didn't notice when people were talking to them.
They recently stopped taking thier medication and this time its the total opposite. They are talking AT people, and even if someone doesn't respond they just keep going. They have suddenly started cleaning things several days in a row that they never have before. Constantly interrupt people with random unrelated thoughts. Their face wont sit still when someone talks to them and they can present multiple expressions in a split second. They are also ignoring everyone telling them they are making others uncomfortable.
Im not sure what to do. The police recently got involved but couldnt do anything and the person is refusing treatment.

Im not schizophrenic and I dont like to do this self diagnosed thing since this is a complex disorder that really requires in depth research before labelling it since it can be very harmful if labeled wrong.
But i clicked on this because I was searching if its normal that lately im hearing voices, screams, whispers, i see things in my bedroom and feel cold wind in my room and I think my bedroom is haunted Or I'm developing hallucinations. Its very scary, yesterday i was in the kitchen and suddenly i heard a loud scream. I was so scared that i hide with my knife and its strange because I live with other people and if I could hear that loud sound, they should be able to hear it too.
So i watched this if maybe the disclaimer of it can be depression or anxiety related since I have that but lately the sounds are getting really creepy. please i hope im not alone

I have Paranoid Schizophrenia according to my doctor. These symptoms checks out in me. Or most of them. And i have 4 more disorders as well. I often look over my shoulder to all directions almost because i often feel watched and feel some group will attack me. Sometimes i have vivid images of people walking past me pulls out a knife and stabs me in the abdomen and then casually walks past me afterwards. Sometimes i see shadows and i often check if the door to my apartment is locked and sometimes i think an intruder is hiding somewhere in my apartment. My thoughts are chaotic and abnormal often times. Life is hard but i can cope somewhat. I want to wish everyone a great weekend! Take care! I have disorganized speech and memory problems and abnormal movement and my speech is slow and slurry.

i don't have schizophrenia, but i just kinda feel like talking about something i've experienced that's related to this video.
one time i was very stressed out and i heard a random knocking noise. it wasn't coming from outside and it didn't sound like somebody knocking at my door. it sounded like it was coming from inside the house or something, or inside my head. it's hard to explain.
just something really weird that happened a few weeks ago, if anybody thinks they know what this is then pls tell me.

holy moly after watching this video a lot of my life makes sense i have yet to be tested but am on meds to treat schizophrenia cause my doctor says i have clear signs i was always so mad i could never remember things, i was always so mad i couldn't control my tangents and so mad that i couldn't stop moving with no goal in mind(i have mmd) so this just made me so happy i am crying i finally found answers to whats wrong with me i am grateful even though this is two years later i am forever in debt.

Everyone who thinks u have schizophrenia it's not you and your not crazy U just inherited a generational curse or have sinned so much that the law of reaping and sowing happened to you and God is actually calling you to wake up and help yourself those evil voices and trying to make u think ur crazy so u never really have any power when the truth is those things are afraid of you and bullying you cuz your actually in a war when u hear voices

I've been struggle with most of those things all of my life and really abnormal mood swings and had been wondering if I either have schizophrenia or bipolar disorder but I've been too scared to seek help because I'm afraid they'll put me in a mental hospital I finally worked up the courage to tell my mom who's a medical professional and she said that I'm most likely bipolar but she won't take me to the hospital for it.

My friend had an Awakening, born again Christian. so she keeps saying the Spirit constantly speaks to her and its draining. At first, I was open to listening and showing interest but the so. called information that's being given to her is always negative accusatory labeling strangers. so I asked her what is the purpose of the information? She didn't know. I'm afraid for her and I don't know how to help her

Somehow I did not know that memory problems were a result of my schizophrenia. My most obvious symptoms have actually been lack of emotional expression and delusional thinking. I am diagnosed by a professional, but I have virtually no hallucinations now. Very rarely do I have auditory hallucinations, and only had slightly more than now before I got put on medication.

I have some delusions, i think, disorganized speech, decreased emotional expression and memory problems. But i dont have hallucination. I have confirmed schizophrenia from childhood to adulthood, but because i dont have hallucinations i dont think that itss right to say that i have schizophrenia. Am i wrong?

I think 3 or 4 of these signs I display in some way (I mainly show avolition and asociality, catatonia, and memory problems.
Although I'm not trying to say or imply a self-diagnosis, but I think these behaviors are just normal things of myself.
But, honestly the art and the topic interest me.

Uhmmmm okok I need to get diagnosed showed almost all of these. but then again I always get told by my peers and tests I take you might have adhd do u have adhd? alll my life. I'm only 16! I can't just go up to my parents and straight up tell them I think I got it and need a diagnosis what do I do!

I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia and major depressive disorder, I hear voices and whispers often, I often see imaginary people following me and staring at me often, I have memory problems a lot, I really feel bad when people misunderstood me or hate me for this condition

Aome other symptoms that are very common vut hardly talked about is your body doing stuff without you thinking about it, like a leg kicking or messing up words as you try to say something with it clearly in your mind. Thats what got my diagnosis after a lot of tests.

My best friend constantly, (no exaggeration, I mean non-stop) singing of songs he has heard in his life. He either hums or sings 80s songs. It is annoying, he never shuts up. Is this constant singing or humming a characteristic of Schizophrenia?

If you think you have schizophrenia, most likely, you dont. Many people stuck in deep psychosis have little to no insight anything is wrong. Usually someone outside looking in had to drag them to the hospital. :(
