Story time:
There was once a Doctor who specialises in child treatment. He was very successful and achieved great heights in medical fields.
Other Docs used to jealous of him as the Doctor can do what they can't.
There was something stange about that Doctor.
Whenever he realize that the child is not showing positive response through his treatment, he writes something in a slip and give it to the nurse, the nurse then take the patient into a closed room and soon the child becomes normal.
The other Doctors when learnt about this fact they went straight to that room to uncover the mystery.
So, when they broke into the room they found an old lady sitting in a chair, hugging the child and pampering like he/she is her own grandchildren.
When they found the slip that said, Grandma they were just stunned.
So what is the point of this story here?
The point is we all are pampered, loved by our families when we are in our childhood (unfortunately not every single of us) we got huggs, kisses and other gestures. That time we don't realize their actual potential.
But we realise when we grow old, when we have no one to understand us, that time we miss our parents very much.
Life goes on, child becomes adult. But this doesn't affect our fundamental needs, people need food, water and shelter to live but the important and vital asset is love.
I believe if everyone has been given good care and love, then there will be no trace of such diseases.

As a woman who was diagnosed at a really young age. The amount of judgement and bullying i received when I was attention seeking mostly came from my teachers. The other students in my class would see how they treated me and would do the same. I made my first real friend in middle school. She also has ADHD and we have just hit our ten year anniversary of friendship! I have since moved away and started a new life and have made plenty of friends and held on to the people who were willing to get to know me and look past all the labels people would use. Terms like attention seeking cause a lot of damage. I was never looking for attention i was looking for dopamine and dispite never finding the right medication as a kid Ihave found one that works well for me now.

I am still not sure if I have adhd but I do show signs that my doctor has pointed out to me. The truth is if I do have adhd it s not very obvious non of my teachers have ever noticed my symptoms, I am under the understanding that this is because I am very good at hiding my symptoms so much so that until recently I was not aware that this could be a problem or cause of my problems I started to take meds yesterday for it. I am kinda confused and distressed as my school starts in a couple days. Alongside the fact that I ve only had these meds for 2 days I think is best I get off them for reasons I am not stating online cause yeah it sucks. Idk how to properly cope with my symptoms tho so life kinda sucks rn

A friend once suggested I had ADHD becuz of my writing hobby. I write what I know, which means my characters most often have dealt with some type of struggle that I myself have faced as well. As I was going through the checklist, I was unconsciously saying yes to a lot of them, but I dunno if I want to get diagnosed. Visits to any type of doctor scare me, and I don't see the point in knowing, so Imma just continue as I am. If it actually starts impacting my life to the point others notice, then sure, I'll do something about it. But it's not my highest priority right now, and I wish the best of luck to those who are brave enough to do something I could never do: get professional help

Hello, at the end where u mentioned the symptoms I experience most of them. And I have been having mental break downs more often than usual (idk if this falls to the symptom of being emotional) but I do see most of it in me. I tried to tell my mum but the problem is my country isn't as aware of mental health as other countries so she tells me it's a phrase. Then I had suicide attempts but not anymore although I do have suicidal thoughts and existential crisis and just feel like a burden. Please don't blame my mum cuz I don't blame her or any one. But wat can I try to do?

I been diagnosed in the late 90s as a child with ADD but all I got was a pill. Honestly it was better not to share that I have it. It didn't matter if they believed ADHD was a thing or not, it was more you got treated negatively after saying it. I am still very cautious and I still deal with it on your own because I have to say the world is still unfriendly to my way of doing things and how I think. At least there is more published content out there to help adults with ADHD now. I just wish it felt less lonely in the hardships I deal with.

My sweetheart's diagnosed with ADHD, and ever since we started dating, I've come to realize how much I relate and empathize with her struggles! I've never got a professional diagnosis on the matter and it made me curious to learn more and seek out proper help, for both of us.
And while living with an ADHD person can be a bit challenging, I wouldn't have it with anybody else. She's the most caring and passionate pumpkin ever, and I'm committed to making living a little easier for her. C:
Thank you for this video!

I love Luna Lovegood. She's my spirit animal.
I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until my early 30s even though I started recognizing the signs as early as 3rd grade. Every time I would bring it up to someone it would just get brushed off. In 90 it was rare for girls to be diagnosed.
In a way I'm kinda glad I wasn't diagnosed until I was older. The medications tend to make my anxiety much worse and I might not have recognized that if I started taking it at a much younger age.

My mother refuses to believe that I have ADHD. So I haven t gotten a proper diagnosis, my father has it, and I show all symptoms.
It is extremely difficult for me to socialize because people find me odd or weird, and it s generally heartbreaking.
At least I am aware of the symptoms, most women who struggle with it don t even know, and it s terrible to not know.

ADHD is not an illness, My theory proved that all these (Bipolar, ADHD, PTSD, Dissociative identity disorder, Schizophrenia, Psychosis etc) so called mental illnesses are actually the next evolutionary step of mankind. Yes, your brain is creating chaotic solution to Adapt in this messed up Generation.
Do not fret my kind, You're not alone

I've read many articles on ADHD symptoms, and I show almost all of the symptoms, but my parents never believe me if I tell them I feel like I have any kind of mental disorder. I can't get a real diagnosis for this reason, so if anyone could let me know how to convince them, I would appreciate it so much

I was professionally diagnosed with ADHD. I know many throw around the term like everybody s got it. But I do have it was medically diagnosed by psychiatrist and was even put on medicine for it but I didn t like the medicine so I m trying to do it myself by keeping notes, meditating, etc.

Well yeah I have all these symptoms ig my parents found out and said that adhd is fake and it didn't exist. Allt of people have told me to go to a psychologist because they can see that I may have it but when I asked my parents they said that I'm not sick and blamed it on the phone

I'm a girl with an ADHD diagnosis, I had to convince my mother and she believed me after a few arguments. It seems I'm also autistic, so I'm waiting for that diagnosis. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, at the age of 15, which is quite late

The timing of this video is couldn't be better. I, female 34, have my DIVA Test next Thursday. I'm concerned whether it will be a blessing or a curse.
EDIT: I checked almost the complete checklist. This is becoming more and more real.

maybe theyre right idk

My parents both agree i probably have ADHD( and/or autism) but dont want a diagnosis because they dont see any reasons a diagnosis would help. To anyone struggling: you are loved very much, dont give up hope
reply

Does this happen to guys too? Cause I space out a lot and I'm invisible to people around me. I used to get bullied too and people still dislike me for no reason. Even people I never talked to before
reply

I always thought that since I'm a quiet person, I couldn't possibly have ADHD. Sure, I was diagnosed with ADD around the same time as being on the autistic spectrum, but I never thought much of it.
