Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Narcissists are complex individuals navigating their own internal struggles. Today we will be discussing narcissistic behavior and shed light on 7 things narcissists hate. If you're dealing with narcissistic personalities or navigating narcissistic abuse, this video is a must-watch! Discover the things that narcissists hate and gain valuable insights into their behavior. Explore key topics such as narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) and unravel the triggers that can set off a narcissist. They really hate criticism because it challenges their inflated self-image. They need constant praise to feel good about themselves, hence why they get so defensive and hostile whenever someone says anything that threatens their fragile ego. It’s like you can compliment them all day, but when there’s one feedback you make about them that they don’t agree with, they lose their cool and act like it’s the end of the world, and they’ll even make you feel bad for making that comment.

My mom is the most narcissistic self centered egoistic selfish judgmental biggest manipulator nazi controlling freak. She would never listen nor understand how I really feel. She thinks she is the most perfect sinless human being and I'm always the bad guy! What kind of a mother would talk sht about her own kids, embarrassing and insulting them even in front of other people! What's also messed up is my dad is letting her get her way! He's an enabler and I freaking hate it! I haven't seen her or taLk to her for a few months now because of how she treated my husband and she's ruining my family. I don't care anymore what she says to other people or think about me. She's so freaking mean anyway and feeding all this negative lies to my kids (her grandkids) almost like brainwashing them! We also moved 10 hrs away just to stay away! God only knows I'm doing this to protect my family.

I have been dealing with a narcissist for years.
They have been known to get violent, spread lies, and be abusive in multiple forms, especially when they don't have their way.
When you can't really get away from them because they are a family member they know that and try to exploit that heavily and they can lie and or exaggerate a lot.
Honestly I would say one of the best ways to deal with people that lie that much is to always have something ready to prove to others they are lying, otherwise it's if they are somebody we'll liked or seemingly more believable because of factors like status or more friends to back them up proof is your best friend.
Proof may not put an end to their behavior but exposure of them can ruin a lot.

All of these r lowkey valid, especially beimg criticized, people only do it to make me angry or sad so why would i not be mad, trying to control other people, nah thats the same a criticism, plus why would i not want to be in control and as for others being happy, I have every right to be mad, especially when they spite me or vice versa, and why would you call some one out on their lies if its harmless, thats only causing problems and they deserve to be cut off or criticized. Also why woild I want to be vulnerable, showing weaknesses means people will always hold ot against you no matter what. Im no narcassist but this video is just expecting me to be perfect

For those thinking they're a narcissist now, theres a very noticable difference between learning you matter too versus how a narc's apathy towards people.
I won't lie since I lived with 3 i show 4 of the traits listed, but its not that black and white. Losing control Hell you're around assholes who do nothing but shit talk you into feeling like you're nothing without them-- so naturally you wanna feel confident in your abilities when they not around. Your opinions sound like commands, stuff like that.
A narc will see this as bull and dismiss the very notion if it paints them bad. A narc will not care, so if you do theres hope

In my experience (which is far longer than you would ever want to know) a narcissist will NEVER apologize (because they can never be wrong, NEVER pay a compliment, because that means someone else may have merits that threaten their own superior image, and NEVER show empathy to children or animals. Result: a great deal of cruelty. They will never change. If you can't run away from them, you will have to wait until they die. How many of us can waste our lives like that

My ex boyfriend had narcicisstic behaviour. He didn't have finished school being 21 when I nearly finished my bachelor. He constanstly told me my Bachelor degree is worth nothing. That was the first point when I noticed st is wrong. it took me 5 years to get out. I thought Noone would think I look good as he always told me how bad I was looking & noone could cope with me as he does because I am so exhausting and men want women who are always happy etc pp

I'd love to know about the differences between covert and overt narcissists, and I would like everyone to know that the I my way to feel alive around a narcissist whe' you're their victim, is to not be around them, grey rock and leave, go-no contact. It's when you're alone that you can freely think and understand the hamster wheel you were in you can only live this life one, so don't waste it for someone else
reply

Sadly. No contact is the best way to deal with a narcissist and narcissistic abuse. As sad as it sounds and it is. This is forever! Do not get romantically involved with a narcissist. No one, and I mean no one, can love them enough. They will destroy you and everything you love and then leave you with the rubble.
They are always in need of shiney new supplies of adoration.

This is very on point I will admit, my father who wasn't a true father figure who is a true narcissist and he is currently dying of alchoholism but reguardless of that I forgive him as I wish for him to die peacefully. Yet at the same time I begin realize that I am also a reflection of my father, like everything she pointed out those traits I also have those narcissistic traits.

My mother is kind of narcissist. She cant always take the no as answer. Critisizing me before and taking control of me (younger days already graduated college) At least now it is already lessen as I got older. The remaining is she cant accept a NO answer sometimes. Maybe because she's already getting on a menopausal stage now.
reply

I thought maybe I'm narcissistic until watching this video
Only thing that matched me is not liking others being happy, which was true for me when I was depressed years ago. I just couldn't understand why people would let themselves smile in a world like this, when I even saw friendly smiles I thought of them as lies

Last year I was dating a narcissistic woman that eventually isolated me from my friends and I went along with whatever they did, until the day I started saying no and disagreeing with them, sticking up for myself etc. I’ve been away from that person for over a year now but I feel I’m still recovering from that experience.
reply

I’ve had a lot of experience with narcissists and personally for me one of the first red flags is a lack of gratitude. When you help them out or do them a favour they don’t say thank you or show appreciation like the average person does. They just seem to expect it. It’s a tiny thing but it’s a pattern I’ve noticed.
reply

I'll admit: there's nothing I hate more than being criticized. It's mostly because I hate being told what I did wrong. It just make me feel worst about myself. However, I don't mind being vulnerable because. how am I supposed to let others know I feel Overall, I have days when I'm ashamed to be a narcissist.
reply

This past year, someone insisted for me to know how dumb and ugly they think I am. And the number of lies they were saying about me were crazy. I have never met someone like this before. I met mean people, but this is the next level of mind games, lies, and insults. Amount other things.
reply

What's terrible about this is the parents of narcissists allowed their child to develop this mental disorder through either neglect and abuse or adoration and holding their hand through everything. If I was a narcissist, my parents wouldn't have helped me whatsoever.
reply

I knew a narcissist for a while. They caused a lot of pain to themselves and me. looking back, it's sad to see someone display so much arrogance and insecurity at the same time. There were situations where I was being manipulated and abused.
reply

Ok. I thought I am one. But my ex are all these and I'm totally the opposite of these. To a point that I'm already doubtful of how I got some achievements as they were thrown against me by my ex too. So odd to be around that kind of people
reply

i don’t know, you guys just seem to not like people with npd. you throw the word narcissist around and talk about people with npd as if they’re just some little experiments who’s mental behaviours are being monitored in a lab.
