You can NOT argue that American gun manufacturers are at fault for the illicit flow of weapons into Mexico. The manufacturers have nothing to do with that. That's all second hand from straw buyers working for the cartels. The people supplying them with gun are acting just as illegally as the cartels. If you get caught selling them weapons, you can kiss your freedom goodbye. Personally, I think we should prosecute people selling them arms for domestic terror charges, but in any case, you can't lay this at the feet of American firearms companies. They're just making a product. They have no control over what people do with that product once it is purchased.

I remember when AMLOs victory was announced. The next day the air felt different, like there was some kind of hope. The way he handled the situation is unforgiveable. I've been taken and attempted to be taken twice. I got away obviously but I knew many people who did not. I'm glad he is only able to be president one time. If one goes missing in Mexico and no one calls for a ransom it's likely that they've killed the person. If anyone missing more than two months were counted as likely dead that number of murders would be much higher.

lol democrats don't want any problem with Mexico. most democratic politicians own property in Mexico. it's part of their exit strategy. they sold off all our manufacturing to Mexico and when things get too bad in the united states they will move to their property in Mexico.
Mexico pretends like they can't stop cartel violence, but try going to one of the areas in Mexico where rich Mexicans live. its the safest place on earth. Go to Merida Mexico. its safer than ANY American city of the same size.

Who cares what the Mexican government thinks They're too weak to do anything about it. With the cartels in control of certain areas, the government doesn't even have sovereignty over their own country. So their words are just words, and their words are worthless. You need power for your opinion to matter, and the Mexican government doesn't have it. Mexico would literally be more peaceful and prosperous as a US controlled territory than their current pretend sovereignty

If Mexicos govt leaders not gonna do anything to stop the cartels either because they are in fear, incompetent, ineffective incollusion or outright unwilling to do what needs to be done to disrupt, dismantle and destroy there syndicates then its of a great National security interest that the U. S. covertly do something about it by way of our special forces i. e. Delta Force/Seal Team. We now have a strong direct POTUS who willing to take up the challenge.
