Dear viewer keep in mind that most of what's been mentioned in this video is more focused toward acute moderate/major stress. Chronic stress has been brushed on very briefly but it still has many nuances that science haven't fully understood yet.
I'll share some of what I've learned from my personal experience
Be very aware and careful of chronic low/moderate stress, if it persist for long enough it can potentially develop into anxiety without you ever noticing
Chronic stress and anxiety are not the same and they can coexist simultaneously, though typically experiencing their combined forces wouldn't be described as traumatic, the aftermath they leave on your body is.
If left unchecked the effects of long term chronic stress even if moderate can spill into other aspects of your life, such as your lifestyle, sleep routine, diet, social life, academic or professional career.
When the brain is overwhelmed typically the first functions to get affected is our executive functioning, which is responsible for planning, decision making, learning, and processing information in general
After a decade long struggle with chronic stress and anxiety my working memory have been reduced to hold just couple of hours worth of info. It's like dementia but for young people
No amount of food, exercise, socializing, or meditation can ever come close to the importance of sleep for the management of chronic stress and anxiety.
Limiting your exposure to stressors is also key to help your brain recover. Which means learning to know when to take a break from thinking about things when it's not necessary to think about them, and in case of caregivers learning to sit up boundaries when needed.
Two hands are better than one cooperation is one of the key elements that helped humanity survive for this long. Learn to setup a support network where you can delegate and share your burdens with other instead of going solo through all your problems. You'll be surprised by how rewarding it feels to exchange help with others. It's also somewhat comforting knowing that someone can hold your back in moments of need.
A support network can be anything from family members, friends, coworkers or classmates, neighbors, hired social workers, government provided social services, ect.
If you've read all this, thank you so much for giving the time of your day to read my comment I hope you found it helpful, be well and have a wonderful and healthy life

Every year price of commodities will increase, your mortgage rates will increase, government taxes will increase, but your salary will stay the same. We're closer to world war than ever, and war will waste all your life's effort, and after 100 years no one may even remember you, the house you paid for will belong to a stranger, your beloved expensive car will be on a junkyard. Now go manage your stress

In my experience, yoga works tremendously for depression and anxiety as well as routine stress. Not only does the stretching releases the tightness of the body and can be an excellent exercise overall but paired with mindful breathing, it soothes the mind and body in ways that are truly remarkable. Indulging in our favourite hobbies can be quite calming and relaxing as well.

Alas, I tried cutting out all the news feeds from the Internet or our clearly genocidal psychopath fanatical supporters of the Antichrist rTump, but I know it's coming. I don't have to hear him and his cult blather on about some invasion, which for some reason still isn't mobilizing. But whatever

so when feeling unnecessarily stressed, think: theres no real danger. this will not be the death of me.
but when lacking urgency or demotivated, think: how badly will it go if i dont get this done.
dispel stress or use stress to your advantage.

New Age music is my go to stress reliever. Specially artists like Steven Halpern and Hiroshi Yoshimura. I HIGHLY recommend Halpern’s Spectrum Suite and Yoshimura’s GREEN and SURROUND. Some of the genres most seminal works that have truly changed my life.

With time, you get used to stress. Especially after facing it with time in a certain field. You still feel pressured, but perform better even if stressed because you've become more resilient. Also, you get stressed less over things with time.

I am 34 years old. I have autism and I suffer from high anxiety. Nothing makes me more stressed then being told to manage it/stop acting like that in front of people so I don't embarrass them. I'm sorry if panicking doesn't fit your social norms.

There are some inaccuracies with this video. At one point it seems as if adrenaline (epinephrine) and cortisol are being emitted/released from the pituitary. They are released only by the adrenal gland through direct nervous stimulation.
