how can they say this fella invented the first American clock? ,when he really copied an already invented design and made it out of a lesser material. Americans make me laugh trying to take credit for every thing, the clock was invented in the 14th century,

This is my first time learning anything about Benjamin Banneker. Not one teacher in Virginia spoke his name in any of my classes. I knew of his name but that's about it. Thanks for education, TED-ED!
