The Apollo 11 moon landing was about the astronauts, mission control, software and hardware all working together as a seamless integrated system. None of which would have been possible without the contributions of one engineer: Margaret Hamilton. Who was this pioneer? Matt Porter and Margaret Hamilton detail how a woman and her team launched the software that took mankind to the Moon. Lesson by Matt Porter & Margaret Hamilton, directed by TOTEM Studio

Ya and women would not being going in to space without the inventions of rockets.
She also would not be an engineer without feminine hygiene products, the increased survival rate of pregnancy, more access to contraceptives, and personal choices. All brought by men.
But WHO CARES. Instead of trying to put a divide. Say with out this lady the first moon landing may never been successful. She might have helped make the first mission successful but I can guarantee if she was not there it would have eventually happened.
I dont understand how people want to roll back time to the perfect moment to make their point but the forget about all of the rest of history. History if like a set of walking dominoes. Sure you can remember your favorite part half way through but if it wasnt for the initial push then none of the rest to the interactions would have happened.
You know we fought for equality and now everyone seems to just want to turn the tables. Creating a new minority.
You know you hear this joke about women controlling the future. I would love to see an average size female take down an average size male when both are angry.
Heater Swanson already proved that point along with all the other trans athletes.

The people back then are much much smarter than us. Even if with the access of internet and all of the resources in this world, I wouldn't be able to do what she did. Her ideas, her brain putting those ideas into reality is simply amazing.

She was only a project manager this is false information, the code was made by a TEAM of engineers and all these books are DOCUMENTATION NOT CODE

When are you gonna do this for the real genius Wernher Von Braun who actually took humans from the ground to the moon. propaganda liars.

The soundtrack played dredged up my focus and spurred me so well. A century ago, I would have missed an opportunity to dream bigger

several hundred thousand people worked hard to get us to the moon.
I'm glad they found the one responsible for the success!

Asynchronous programming in the 60s? And nodejs javascript added async/await a few years back to assist developers.
