There is a lot of mention about profit in this video, and how bad it is when a drug is non-profitable. Thinking about that, well it seems heartless and money minded, Lacks compassion. But sadly, that's what the world runs on. Great info apart from that!

Antibiotic resistance can be minimized by completely halting usage of antibiotics. Natural selection will remove the resistance believing there is no usage. We can use phages instead and prophylaxis for one year cycle.

Pharma: We can't make enough money by developing antibiotics
Bacteria: God bless capitalism, these humans won't survive if surviving is unprofitable

At the end, money is the reason why many good endeavors get dried up. I wish the governments gave more of their attention to medical research rather than to developing powerful missiles.

If we want to fix the problem, we also need to fix the agriculture industry. Stop using antibiotics and improve conditions. Offer more non-animal based options as well.

I noticed the key role of the meat industry in the development of the antibioresistance! One of the most polluting and cruel also!

Even if phages somehow can't fight bacteria, if a bacteria wants to have immunity to phages it must lose antibiotic resistance.
