Discover the incredible ways elephants use their trunks to sense and communicate information and emotion. As a breeze blows through the savannah, a snake-shaped tube stretches into the air and scans the horizon like a periscope. But it s not seeing it s sniffing. Containing no bones and an estimated 40, 000 muscles, an elephant trunk is one of the most versatile tools in the animal kingdom. Chase LaDue and Bruce Schulte detail the incredible capabilities of these agile appendages

I know elephants have the same memory capacity as that of a human. That's why an elephant never forgets. They can get PTSD and mourn their dead. My dad was in the circus in the 1980's and he loves elephants.

Elephants are awesome animals, if you go to Asia, don't pay for elephant rides, I don't care that people depend financially from it, suffering should never be justified.

I don't know if you ask me killing or maiming elephants without good reason ( like self defense) should have lengthy prison sentences. It's nothing short of killing a human.

Fun fact: when an elephant looks at a person, their brains light up on a scan the ways ours do when we see puppies.
TL; DR, they find us adorable

Can you make a video showing how humans communicate? I still don't think I really know what my fellow humans mean when they say certain things.

I truly think there are some animals straight-up as smart as humans and we'll never know because they can't use tools as well as us
