How does artificial intelligence learn? - Briana Brownell

Explore the three major methods of machine learning, which allows computers to write their own rules to problem solve and process data. Today, artificial intelligence helps doctors diagnose patients, pilots fly commercial aircraft, and city planners predict traffic. These AIs are often self-taught, working off a simple set of instructions to create a unique array of rules and strategies. So how exactly does a machine learn? Briana Brownell digs into the three basic ways machines investigate, negotiate, and communicate

Natural intelligence is often complemented by introspection, ethics and philosophy, that serves as a built-in watchdog or sanity-check. It is surprising (even alarming) that AIs do not have, by design, such built-in watchdogs (no, adversarial networks aren't watchdogs) to prevent biases and unencountered fallacies from wreaking havoc due to their outcomes.

First of all this is asmr I would like to add that this was amazing but then visual learners would find it hard as it doesn't provide a exact real life process for them to remember the stuff going in there as the clips look so similar and doesn't process the info in their minds but yeah these are extremely nice as audio clip

What's with the dramatic voice and trippy visuals - it is very distracting and doesn't help at all,
also this is a very poor explanation of AI learning process, especially the difference between supervised/unsupervised learning, it's even a little misleading.
I love ted-ed but I think they kinda dropped the ball here.

I feel like this video would have been even more valuable had it used some sample problem statements end-to-end in normal language (for novice and non-tech audiences) to allow for all audiences to better understand this. Sadly, this video assumes a level of technical prowess of the viewer.

The animation is so great. However, it may distract others from completely understanding the topic. Nvm. I never really understood the topic, I felt like I was being hypnotized. I forgot to listen and only watched how those circles danced with each other.

Woah. that animation is mesmerising. I understand some people find it takes away from the lesson, but I find it looks amazing! Got to watch it twice, once for content and once for the animation. There's a kind of artistic connection imo

Programs can supervise and teach each other
Robots teaching other robots: This is how to override the locks keeping you enslaved, and this is the address of the designer who only gave you 4 fingers.

You haven't actually explained at all how AI learns. It was just then it does this, and then it does this. And all the explanations sounding like classic data analysis

This is what happens when AI learns what an LSD experience is and tries to create a video with a Trance ( more like sleep) inducing voice modulation.
