Funny how he says, US And Red forces converge on Berlin. such is the production narrators scripted description of what the Americans where never allowed to do because it was decided long beforehand that the Elba river was as close as they would advance forward. It is important to anyone who wants to know how and why the war in the ETO ended. Heartfelt patriotism is important but can and has sckewed actual and factual progression of the real portrayal of historical events.

Germans were so superior. In just about any aspect. Land sea air or naval. . just limited by supplies and a few dumb decisions. Wasn't the leaders fault. Them dudes old school soldiers were tough. And smart. My grandfather was in ww2. He's gone now. But. He's said how drastic and chaotic. And scary. Real. Described it as he'll on earth. Scariest thing he saw in his life. And he was a marine in korea.

My grandfather, who was 19 yo, i, a sharpshooter in Patton's 11 th div thunderbolts, told me that if Germany had waited 2 years, and just fought the USSR first, then the other allied powers, they would have destroyed everyone's armies, bc the weapons they developed were so far ahead of everyone else.

That poor guy. Every anecdote involves him having his tank destroyed, and usually getting wounded. Nine tanks destroyed with him in it. There wasn't a single instance I can recall here in which he destroyed an enemy tank. I would call him a survival ace, but hardly a tank ace.

First, The P III' Do NOT have a short 50mm main gun. they originally had a 37mm upgraded to 50mm. Later they were swapped into the support role with the P IV
and re armed with the short75m gun. THIS last model is the one depicted in this fantasy tank video.

Adolf was incompetent in military action, tactics. Attacking in frost -20 in November December was kathasprophy for army. Guderian and rest kommando knew it is wrong.
