Princess Diana: A Life After Death is different from many of the recent programs commemorating the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana's death. It is not just an anniversary programme. It is a powerful summary of Princess Diana's historical, political and social legacy

She perished because her upcoming engagement to Dodi Fayed was something the British Royals simply could not live with. And this is no conspiracy theory. These are the facts. The car she died in was impounded by government officials and to this day, no one has been able to examine it. Why? Her body was embalmed before anyone could perform an autopsy? Why? How far is London from Paris that embalmment was necessary? If preservation of the body was a pressing concern (despite the ridiculously close distance between the two capitals, why not perform an autopsy in Paris where the accident took place? So many whys and so much silence echoing from Buckingham Palace. And that is the final WHY?

Diana was a lovely, ambitious and flawed person. Unfortunately, she made some bad associations, particularly with the opportunistic al Fayed family. I wish things could have been so much better for her. She could've lived a happy life after her experience with the royals but she was still so emotionally vulnerable and fell into other traps.

I was on top of one of the hills in San Francisco when it happened. Most of the 10 million people in that fishbowl turned off their lights I had no idea why except world war III. What a surprise the next day to find out that she tried to save all those super smart people that died of that horrible disease and did a lot of good for India.

Some would refer to her as, sly Di.
Others couldn t care about her one way or the other.
Readers of the numerous women's magazines built their lives around adoration of Diana.
How boring, pitiable and sad is that. What replaced Diana in their lives after she was killed in a car wreck in Paris, France?

reply

Diana Spencer most certainly waisted her time getting hooked up with that two timing louse, in my book she was murdered by those people chasing the car she was traveling in. She said there were 3 people in her marriage, her husband, his girlfriend and Diana. She should never have gotton married to him.

I think the media and special the yellow press and the paparazzi played a big roll in the death of Princess Diana. She was young, beautiful, married her - Prince Charming -. What a - feast - for the the media world.

Haven't watched, President is coming on soon (the real one, Trump, hope princess Diana is still alive. in Exile.
Who'd of thunk it, old farmboy awakened ahead of everyone else, surreal in a word.

Doesn't everyone just LOVE a biography of a dead woman, told by the victors?
And it is so enormously helpful to hear so much Hrnah, hrnah, hrnah from the royal suck-up biographers. Naaaaasty.

As usual Penny Juror yaps and yaps about how terrible Diana was. Old ugly Penny who was obviously in love with Charles.
What a pathetic, ugly little worm.

Yikes. It's so sad watching people pull down their peers for an ounce of favor. Gross that women were crafted into this, also Charlie is still a low person.

I remember we all had a day off school to watch her wedding. Then much too soon, we had a day off work for her funeral. Forever young Diana.
