I remember when Subway first started showing up in my town in the early 90's I thought wow this is like having new York sandwiches in Wisconsin. I was 14 years old in 1991 and now see them as the McDonald's of sandwiches. Did subway get worse over the past 28 years or did everything else just get better?

I liked the safer way. My mom works for Whole Foods and has always said its a bunch of hippies and that picture was a great example. Not to say hippies are bad I love Whole Foods. It was just extremely validating.

The 1st taco bell and 2nd mc donalds ever are both in Downey. I live in neighboring city commerce and both are like a 10 min drive although not sure if the og taco bell is still around.

Haha the original building for that burger king is still there it's a place called stans sandwiches now on beach Blvd and it's. okay. Breakfasts are decent though
