video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Humanity has lived through some horrific periods in history, including natural disasters, plagues, and man-made crises. Plagues have threatened to wipe out civilization more than once, while famine, floods, and fires have brought devastation and destruction. Wars, depressions, and atomic weapons have also contributed to the darkest times in human history. How did the world recover from calamities like the Black Death, the Great Depression, and the Spanish flu?

Hoover started the depression but FDR sent it into high gear.
I know, people believe differently.
Research Henry Morgenthau and some of his quotes.
We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and if I am wrong somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises I say after eight years of this administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started and an enormous debt to boot!

The human race is really excellent in surviving any conditions, we would do anything to survive through research, learning from our mistakes, and by experimenting. The human race has already reached an unbelievable capacity of knowledge compared to humans from the ancient times, I wonder if there are any other much more intelligent life forms outside our Galaxy, what do you think their homes look like? What's their hygiene like? What type of transportation do they use to travel? What type of short-range and long-range communication device and strategies do they use with each other? Makes me wonder

Herbert Hover protecting domestic jobs, wasnt a misstep. He just didnt aid in distributing food to the masses like FDR did.
Also the NAFTA, NORTH AMERICA FREE TRADE AGREEMENT, was one of the primary causes leading to the Great Recession. Leading to the outsourcing, of most our high paying manufacturing employment. Now we are left with low paying service jobs and the manufacturing jobs still available have significantly fewer benefits and have all but done away with pensions. Replacing them with 401ks, to ensure employers dont have to pay for the remainder of a lifetime

I think that the history books will ha e to be rewritten due to the overwhelming horrible influence of the Deep State on the recording of the truth, as seen in this and many other of your videos. BTW: where are the bodies, you know, the mass graves? Seems to me that you cant have a deadly pandemic without those two key ingredients. Mind you, you also need a deadly disease too, but hey, at this point its all propaganda! Have a day!

So socialized medicine, solved Spanish flu? FDR solved thd great depression? oh and let's throw in a shout out to Kennedy. Your political bias is really screaming in this video. I love history, you chose to present it, and I thank you, but doing it without sneakily injecting your political views would make it much better.

We are our own destroyers, but we are also the cure for a better future. So in this case, we have no choice but to endure and tolerate harsh times we create, we are all human and somehow in someway we all awaken and listen to our hearts in the end. As humans we have empathetic emotions toward each other.

About nuclear bombs: yes no one living city was victim of nuke after Nagasaki (except in Fallout if you want) but we continue anyway to use it for experiments and not without concequences, pushing entire villages to go somewhere else.

The pandemic has not caused the fall in the economy, the reaction to it has. Whether it was planned, or just opportunistic, our governments have hijacked the Corona virus. Ulterior motives are at play, as they always have been.

boy, universal medicine sure sounds like a good idea, especially after a pandemic.
Just like strict gun laws make sense, especially after a mass shooting.
Too bad I live in the US, where we do nothing about everything

reply

We are fighting against idiocracy, this and childish fear of a virus that is neither lethal nor so hard to deal with, besides we have good medication that could be given to people but had been denied to them.

Although Roosevelt's tackling of the depression was admirable (compared to Hoover, it was the second world war that ultimately caused the US economy to bounce back. Meanwhile, it left European allies bankrupt.

Before Famine: 8 million people

Modern day: 6 million people

the plague was terrible but those who woke up in the ashes found themselves with riches beyond their dreams because there was nobody else to claim it so work and make money they did

Public Health services across Western Europe was not straight after World War 1, it was mostly after WW2, when the NHS was formed in the UK in 1946.
