I lost my cousin Robyn to a drunk driver 5 days prior to Sam's death. It hurts the family of those a drunk driver's actions cause. Even after 30 years, you don't feel the Liberal or Democratic approach of soft glove sentences you hear of. I do love El Salvador's approach to drunk driving. 1st offence, firing squad irregardless if you cause death or not. They don't play. Here in the 1st World countries depending on your race, you will get light terms. Although I have heard of some drunk drivers nailed in California under its 3 strike law 25-Life sentences.

When 2 vehicles collide, the combined speed of the vehicles does not add up. 2 cars traveling at 60mph and colliding does not make a 120 mile impact. You have 2 forces of energy, so the force has to be divided. So if 1 car gets 120 mile worth of damage, the other car won't have a scratch. If 1 car takes 80 mile worth of damage, the other will sustain 40. If they both come to a dead stop on impact, they each only take 60 mile worth of damage, not different than hitting a brick wall.

I always thought all of these acts on TV and I on on Howard Stern he was very funny and very good man weeks before his death my son so can you send coming out of a doorway I don't remember what it was was but he was going to get in the car it was in Hollywood and my as he was leaving the doorway going to the car my son put up his hand and it a high five Sam wasted no time acknowledging my son and was very nice and had a few words with him he loved his fans

Troy Peterson was a dick in high school and I hope he regrets the effects his actions and the countless lives he affected by his actions. I hope he never gets a moments peace and that this haunts him for the rest of his life. I went to school with Troy and he was shitty than and probably still is. Sam didn't deserve what happened to him. I hope Troy has a one way ticket to hell. Rip sam, best party I ever went too, I will never forget you

The day I returned from Desert Storm the Army had put us in the Antlers Doubletree in Colo Sorings Colo. While we were checking in Sam Kenison arrived and did his signature screaming skit yelling that we were back and the wed kicked Saddams ass he then graciously talked with us and thanked us for our service. Ill never forget it! RIP Sam!

when i was 17 i was working and taking care of my mom for the past 2 yrs, im 27 now and im LESS responsible than i was then. my point? this drunk little ass should have went to jail for a very long time, drinking and driving and killing is willing murder idc what people who drink and drive say.

His brother Bill tells a different story than Carl. He said Carl embellished the part about holding him when he died. He said Sam & Carl weren't getting along anymore & the gig was a favor to Carl because Carl needed money. I, of course, wasn't there so idk. Just passing on what I heard.

Sam Kinison was definitely one of a kind they will never be another one it is tragic that he lost his life so young the individual responsible for his death only got a slap on the wrist basically because he was a minor what he did was still wrong and he shouldve paid a heavier price

God grants justice and our sufferings are not neutral. he had special consolation as we see in his dying words. RIP. Strange human justice that in the US. If a 17 year old can drive they can stand trial for using that car as a weapon. Or they should not be allowed to drive.

Such a shame. That kid should of been publicly hung by the neck to make a strong statement for any other young person who might think of illegally drinking then driving! Its to bad it did happen in a state like Texas where justice would of been served!

We watched Sam, in Palm Springs, When he was good and bad. He made us wait over an hour once. Came in all fcked up stumbling around. It took him a few minutes but he actually finished strong, went overtime and hung out with the crowd after.

First time I saw SK I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He was sooo funny. I always though he had lifestyle that would lead to short life. I read his last breath was very peaceful. He's in better place.

I was just in that hospital last week, before my birthday from heat exhaustion. Ever since I got back to my property in Havasu Lake, it's been raining all week, thank God. That's amazing for here.

My grandfather was one of Mr. Kinisons bodyguards. He was in the van behind Sam when the crash happened. Knowing he couldnt have helped Sam and his wife he retired shortly after as his death.
