The 1972 Munich Olympics was supposed to be Germany’s redemption arc, since the last time they hosted was when a guy named Adolf was in charge. But this joyous, worldwide, Olympic-sized dream quickly became a nightmare as one of the most infamous events in the games’ history. To read more about this situation, go here:

I love history and heard about this, but I never knew the details. Now I want to dig in and do more research. Coming up as a kid in the 90s, we always heard the phrase Peace to the Middle East. It was kind of like a see you later. I had no idea of all the problems that was actually going on because I guess I was just a kid. Seeing what happened in this situation and what happened in October 2023 has shown me that the conflict between Israel/Palestine is probably never going to end.

52 years later, the 101 hostages in Gaza are neglected as if history doesn’t repeat itself, and yet again human crimes are ignored or worse - justified when it comes to the romantic story in the eyes of the western world of minority groups trying to free themselves.
Innocent civilians are still being held captive for more than 430 days and the red cross never met them once to treat them as they should.
People lately are very comfortable with antisemitism. This is a huge concern.

Eating ANOTHER Weird History meal!
Eating a Smoked Sausage Ring. while watching this Weird History video!
It is Johnsonville Smoked Sausage!
Sausage is from the Weird History video Bizarre Things You Didn't Know About Sausage
I boiled it and am eating it in hot dog buns with ketchup and mustard (for one) and spicy mustard for another (that is about half of the ring) basil, oregano, and parmesan cheese on top of both

This is another reason why i am never trusting a Palestinian supporter. Palestinians could have lived happily alongside Israel, but instead they chose Hams and other terr0rist organisations, just because of the hate they have against Israelis.
Israel gained independence in 1948 and at the same time Palestine was formed. Both began a new chapter at the same time, but one chose development, while other chose violence.

I was 8 years old when I heard ABC sports announcer Jim McKay say they’re all gone. I remember asking my speechless mother what does that mean My mother seemed a little sad and simply said angels. Why don’t you go outside and play. I’ll call you when dinner’s ready. I said okay and went outside to play.

Something is wrong with me but for me palestynians in this video are the same as ecology movements which we have now. Idea is good and I fully agree with them but they choose methods which only generate more oposition and point them as te. st. Sad, but I vote for palestynians: D

Feel bad for the Jews goys. Forget the fact that the Israeli special forces shot all the hostages rather than let them be used as a political tool.
Now feel bad for these people and ignore the genocide in Palestine.

I was 16 at the time, I can clearly remember my parents, sisters and I listening to the radio (the TV didn't work that evening, don't remember why) reporting the events. It was so scary, I'll never forget it

1: 50 When I was in Track in High School, I ran the 800 M, 1600M, and 4 X 800 M Relay.
Our 4 x 800 M Relay team won 5th place at the State Track Meet my sophmore year.
It's great to be on the right team!

Unfortunately, this kind of bs has only translated into more violence for them. Attacking a more powerful enemy regardless of how just your cause is, will ultimately backfire on you spectacularly. Very dumb plan.

Germany gives incredible amounts of aid to Israel and has done for decades including two nuclear submarines and lets be honest much more that we’ll never hear about from our free and open press

Fun fact just like the University of Texas sniper shooting lead to the creation of SWAT teams in the US this lead the creation of the GSG9 in Germany which is basically their version of SWAT.

I was seven. When your family’s Jewish you know what’s happened. Another attack on the Jewish people because of hate. They are still doing the same thing. Stop!

She is the most decorated American woman.

The depth of depravity and savagery it takes to spend your final moments of life intent on murdering others who have never done anything to you is staggering.

I was 8 and my mother would not let me see this. Literally censored all coverage in our home. I found out later. I get it. I was too young.

Now when I see a Palestinian flag I just see students screaming like they're in a mental home and fail to answer why they support Palestine
