wow so I was out of my 8th and into my freshman year of high school in 2009 so needless to say my world was busy with teen stuff so I did not realize a lot of this started or happened in 2009. Like I would've said minecraft was much older, I also thought Brittany Murphy died earlier than that. I had no idea about analog tv coming to an end either.

Almost 3 hours before the king of pop Michael Jackson died on June 25, Farrah Fawcett from 1970s Charlie’s Angels fame also passed. But just as Jackson’s death overshadowed Fawcett’s own in media reports from June 25 onward, it also seems to have slipped your coverage in Timeline. Her death also deserved mentioning here.

This decade started with 1 democrat president in 2000, middled with a republican president from 2001-2008, and ended with another democrat president in 2009. Like a grimey beef-mung sandwich nestled between 2 sweet loaves of bread.
. switching topics, the guy at 19: 40. oh GOD I fear 2025 more, now. All I'm gonna say.

I remember June 25, 2009 all too well. I had my high school graduation ceremony that night and my family and I ordered some pizza for a very late dinner afterwards. We were eating when we finally saw the news of Michael Jackson's passing on the tiny TV in our kitchen.

Was cleaning a giant common Area in Basic Training when a Drill Sergeant called a Private over to his office. Moments later the Private walked out of the office and started marching around Yelling Michael Jacksons Dead over and over makes me laugh to this day.

And think about it, it only took Disney what two decades to burn everything that they bought for so much money to the ground and then sow the Earth with salt, so no one can ever replicate that kind of thing ever again thanks for ruining my childhood

And the only reason that Barack, Obama got to know the the Nobel peace prize was because he’s black and shifty. He has done nothing more nothing less and try to destroy the constitutional republic of the United States. The man is a communist.

Not my fondest memory, but I was living in Fort Hood at the time of the shooting. The base would have siren drills every Wednesday. I remember them going off on a day that wasn’t Wednesday and announcing there had been a shooting in the area.

2009, my last good year. My mum was shocked at MJ’s death and she was watching the news closely for updates, I remember it vividly. Little did I know I would lose my mum at the start of 2010, forever changing my life without a parent.

My question is: My 20s ended this year and my dad gave me bad glaucoma this decade. Why did you put small light blue and yellow text - on a light green ovaloid - over a screamingly bright background - this entire time

I remember where I was when I heard the news that the king of pop had kicked the bucket. My family and I had just came home from my little brother's high school graduation ceremony when we heard about Michael's passing.

You forgot a huge event in the video. The passing of Billy Mays. The infamous commercial guy that some people loved and some people hated because of his constant presence on commercials for all different products.

2009 marks the year I got my license, 18 years after I was born (legal limit in Norway) and it's almost as long ago as it was since I was born till I got my license. Although only 15 Year, That still doesn't feel real!

You should do a video on improving your weird vocabulary. There are several words that mean weird shit, and it might be fun to learn them. Like the word defenestrate. Look it up. It's funny

Now there are grandmas that we’re playing NES. Also, I’m gonna throw up as I feel dizzy. (Don’t forget for 2010 that the greatest dynasty in college football history started)

A few days after that mass shooting on an Army base I flew out for Kuwait on a deployment to Mosul. Still probably my fondest memory of 2009 or at least the only one I remember.
