I will tell You right now, without the moon there would be no life on Earth.
The moon is what flucuates the Earths core, causeing the Earth to have a magnetic field.
Without a magnetic field the Earth would burn to a crisp from solar flares from the Sun.
So thank GOD we have a moon.
And besides that.
Look up at the moon sometime.
See all those craters on the moon?
Without the moon, those craters would be on the Earth instead! .

For kids who didn't understand how moon formed this is the same way but just easy to unterstand so there was this giant planet or rock in the space as big as mars we named that the thai the thai came towards earth and crashed and then when it crased a chunk of earth which is the size of our moon came off and stayed close to earth and now we call it a moon so basically the moon is a big chunck of earth

How would jupiter effect the tilt when its on the opposite side of the sun probly half of the time? The period when there the shortest distance away from each other has to only last about 3-4 months, and thats only when there both lined up on on the same side of the sun, which probly happenns every 3-5 years (im guessing)

I feel that if Theia didn-t hit Earth, Theia would get ejected or creat a binary planetary system. Or a system where 2 planets orbit each other.
