See important Masterworks disclosures: Sunlight contains all colors of the rainbow, but what if we cranked up the blue light in our Sun, making it look like a blue star to us on Earth? How hot would a blue Sun be? Could Earth life even survive? And would a blue Sun cook you instantly?

Whenever he says thousands of degrees keep in mind that thousands kelvin. Tens of millions of degrees. Something that-s pretty cool about these massive stars are their planets. Because the suns are so massive, any planet that-s within the habitable zone of its solar system would experience seasons lasting hundreds to thousands of years. In other words. Winter lasts 1, 000 years, 1000 year spring, 1000 year summer and fall. Pretty incredible and any life living on such a planet would need to be studied like no other considering the length of seasons.

This video is all based on the earth's proximity to our sun. but other planets in the Goldilocks zone of a blue star would have different forms of life. If after billions of years of evolution, the alien species on such a planet could evolve to survive. On a blue planet, eyes would adapt to the shorter wavelength by becoming larger. Skin would become tougher and have a bluish hue. Gravity may be different so they would be skinnier or longer. Now think about the many alien movies we've seen. Skinny grey/blue aliens with big eyes. it makes sense

Fun fact, there is no such habitable zone around a blue star. The UV light would make any planet sterile even if it-s too far away from it to be temperate. These stars are element factories and there planets if any are just left over material that never got sucked in during its formation process. Anybody landing on a temperate world around a blue star is going to get a really bad sunburn and go blind even if the air same type and temperature as ours.

I was very naughty I was transferred to this earth my son was a blue giant the color looks different we are all travelers people play the game but obey the holy spirit or what is the Holy Spirit I don-t know what do you think it is
reply

Can you stay on topic and not turn the video into -what if our sun swapped places with this blue star? - If our sun was converted into a blue star it would much different obviously but we didn-t get to see that
reply

If sun was as hot as blue star then I guess the earth climate system go runaway hurricane in every corner of the world to lose extra heat and maintain temperature for life to exist
reply

Best explanation of heat color was a flame. Hottest towards the wick. So blue headlights don't last long as filament burns hotter. Color same with anything. Candle flame to a star-

I'm quite happy with our sun the way he is.
Life on earth would have had no chance (or time) to produce intelligent beings,
if we had got another kind of star. -

reply

Mhhhh! I guess blue flames r hotter than the original & it would've been cool if the blue star was cold instead like Uranus resulting of another possible ICE AGE teehee

hey guys Should I?
I would love to try and invest with master work but Im nervous I have no Idea how to even begin
will I be able to make money?

first of all the sun ain't yellow its more of a green, but earth has alot of blue, so blue cancels green and we see white/yellow in the sky.
reply

A blue light plus a blue sky, honestly, I would much rather have our sun L O L it would be more fascinating to change the color of the sky
reply

If you turned it blue, our atmosphere would probably burn away in around 1000-10, 000 years.
All life on earth would be dead.

reply

You wouldn't want a blue star to be a host of of a habitable planet because they are unstable and have a short life span
reply

If we had blue sun, our bodies would of adapt to it. And not be humans like at all. Planet life would look differently too
reply

We'd be dead, it's already hot enough, and a blue star is wayyyyyyyyy wayyyyyyy wayyyyy hotter, like wayyyyyy hotter
reply

Poor sleep would make me being a mental serial killer who kills humankind before the sun will ever be able to -
reply

Maybe then superman would be a match for ssj blue Goku.
Well, almost.
Forget about MUI, thats overkill

reply

Now do what if the sun was a red star instead (which would probably make Japan proud considering it's flag)
reply

You could probably scam people from with that sponsor to get rich. And you would probably get away with it!
reply

Superman would increase his strength 5 times more because the blue star would make superman even stronger
reply

What if our planet was in goldy lock zone of a blue star? What colour of sunlight will fall on earth?
reply

If humans eye spectrum was enough to see ultra violet color, a ultra violet star would be cool to see
