It would be a massive undertaking, after some advancement in ai and manufacturing in zero g.
Theoretically you could send ai robotics factory satellite instalations in an orbit of a favorable region of space, manufacture swarms of ai construction and manufacturing robots to harvest all the planets in that respective solar system all while making more robots and factories and power infrastructure to ultimately build dyson rings to rotate at different distances encircling the star in the respective habitable zone. Transmit progress reports via laser till completion then seeded with human life. -

Leaving Earth is impossible. Once you leave earth's orbit that stretches far beyond the moon, we will die. Its not like the movies where humanity can terraform toxic and lifeless planets that contain no oxygen, water or even an atmosphere, or receive data transmission from earth that travels hundreds and thousands of light years lol no, this isnt star trek or star wars. Nothing can survive in space, and space travel is impossible. Once earth is destroyed for whatever reason, humanity dies with it

Let-s just face the honest truth, to even be alive in the first place we need to constantly take risks of death to various degrees. This travel or transport would be among one of the greatest risks and challenges in any humans life and animals if we bring any with. Sometimes you just have to do and accept the risks and death and keep on keeping on. It-s the only way.

Alpha centari is going to merge with the milkyway eventually. Naturally thinking of self preservation and the concept of humanity being shepherds to all earth based life. I'd live on a ring world. I just wouldn't survive the trip to it. - normal flights give me anxiety. I can't imagine the amount of xanax I would need to survive a mutli-day/week trip to a different world.
