The asteroids are so far apart the rockets would barely see them. And, if every nuke on Earth was to be slammed onto Jupiter at once, it would barely be like a small pimple on a bull's arse. Simply far too little to have any effect. And no, it wouldn't be seen from Earth either.
People don't realise just how monstrously huge Jupiter is.

Navigating the asteroid belt wouldn't be hard considering that asteroids aren't as close as the movies make it to be. Considering the information from the probe that burned up in Saturns atmosphere said most were over 500, 000 miles apart.

C'mon even if we detonated every nuclear bomb on earth it would barely make a dent. A lot of damage and destruction to life but earth would just get a pock mark.

BS. There isn't a bomb big enough to do squat to that ball of gas. It has eaten asteroids and comets that would annihilate the Earth and barely burped.

Well i don't see why we would nuke Jupiter it keeps the astroid belt in check and saves a lot of planets from being hit by astroids
