i dont know if the term Zed refers to zombies in this movies that are not brainless creatures like -like the other zombie movies that are slow. The term zeds must be something infected with the virus that turn them rage! because of the -Movie Virus-. let us not judge what they want us to know of what zombie's they meant! or something else. rather than a zombie we always see's in other movies.

The zombies in this movie were actually terrifying. Their behavior and physicality was far closer to actual rabid animals and people than the lumbering idiocy we've seen in most zombie movies. WWZ was the first movie of such fare that actually caught my attention because it seemed more legitimately possible and realistic, above what others stories have put forward.

If someone actually makes an simulation game out of this movie it will be the best simulation game of the year
That could be possible because the zombies are AI so they could just make some improvements and different maps and new and improved graphics then just release it and then we would get an epic WWZ zombie simulation game

Even though I worked on this film (helicopter camera ship, the shots shown here are jaw dropping, in a non-zombie sort of way, due to the post-production VFX work. I was quite taken aback with the VFX add-ons watching this and remembering just how it actually was at the time.

the reason i think these kinds of zombies are more intimidating:
the virus acts fast.
they can easily outrun or hear you.
they can climb over literally any obstacle.
they are absolutely overwhelming.

I don't like how people say -but zombies are slow and dumb, nag nag nag- I have to say this IT ISNT A NORMAL INFECTION, ITS MORE LIKE RABIES THAN ANYTHING ELSE. Think about it, they got 12 seconds until they turn.

Technically impressive, but they shouldn't have bothered. The end result in terms of dramatic effect was so over wrought and unrealistic. Film was generally a load of shit.
