It-s been called the worst video game in history, but could E. T. the Extra-Terrestrial really be the cause of Atari-s downfall? In the new documentary -Atari: Game Over- director Zak Penn Rinoas: first off E. T. wasnt the worst game, half the atari library is worse. and secondly the landfill story was never a myth or legend. there is tons of newspaper articles, eye witnesses, pictures of it. its just a lot of people didnt care to do any actual research so they just turned it into a myth.
i really hate the atari 2600, E. T. is one of the only games i actually enjoy on it. i find the game really easy. ColecoVision was far better, and of course the NES wins above that.
maybe those same people who thought the landfill story was a myth can do some real research to find out Polybius wasnt a real arcade machine.
