I don't hate this story as long as Zul'jan can turn the tables on Malakrass and take his power after we weaken them, turning Amani more powerful. then Zul'jan and Zul'jara help the elves, to defeat bigger threat. But I don't want elves suddenly becoming best friends with Amani, they fought together because they had common foe. after that common foe is gone they should go back to being hostile/neutral at best. Zul'jan should represent the more nationalist and independent side of amani -preferably creating map/hub for that group and Zul'jara should represent the spiritual and loa worshipping side of amani each ruling over two seperate sides. that would be cool instead of Zul'jan fully accepting everything and becoming apologist loser that suddenly welcomes elves after.

Alright I know World of Warcraft gets trash for microwaving its characters whenever they are running out: Arthas, Illidan, the infamous for doing so Kel'Thuzard etc. But why did they introduce a literal nobody loa like Ula'tek, as the necessary evil when they could have used Hakkar Granted his cult was not spread amongst the Amani, but a bit of lore about Hakkar being praised by the trolls because he saved them from the Old Gods would have been a cool addition

3: 31 what twisted perception of sacrifice. How does he expect the Amani empire to rise if their god kill everyone
7: 58 How could the trolls descend from the Haranirs They literally have nothing in common physically. How did the trolls lost their five fingers to be reduce to three and then five again with their elves descedants I know descendants species can be wildly different from their ancestors but there has to be at least some common features.

Zul'Jan is being a bit ridiculous here, we are facing a universe ending threat, The void that literally will consume us all, abd he's just focusing on him getting power to restore the Amani empire. Like there ain't gonna be one if he don't cooperate. Nobody gonna be trembling sfter he commit mass genocides under his dictatorship rule if miss xal here gets to absorb everything, including his powerful snake

Well, I dunno, kinda doesn’t feel like main quest, you know. I don’t even wanna talk about the condition of lore and quality of writing. It’s just that all of this could’ve been like some random story behind some quests in classic - totally negligible. Like literally give Hogger some pre quests and cutscenes, plus big final battle in stockades - already feels like main story compared to this.

Based on the comments, there is no satisfying any of you. I think its a pretty cool story and its refreshing that zuljan actually is hesitant. Hes not 100% invested, just misguided. It could easily habe been the same story as his grandfather. Plus, the zone is pretty dope. The only thing tgat doesn't add up to me is Lothramar not sending aid. That is an odd choice considering what they've been through.

ppl hate the writing of Orweyna and whatnot but boy if Zul'Jan's writing is so bad. The loa abandoned the amani I can't imagine why. also they really wanted to have Zul'jin back so they created a new character and only changed a letter to save face. I do understand that they kinda undersold the amni in TBC but. come on

What gets me about Zul'jan's whole plan is the fact that he didn't even bother to consider the numbers at the very base of this. My people can rule this world again! Really dude, all 200 of you are going to rule a world spanning empire and keep all the other races and creatures subservient

Malacrasa was a very memorable boss in the TBC. He is the second raid boss whose mechanics is reactive towards player classes after Nefarian. Even though he is only a generic villain with not much background, his reappearance was believable due to how cunning he was in life.

So I love how much money I save by not re-subscribing to this game when the writers refuse to admit its terrible. I used to love this game. Beat KT with my wife in Classic wow. This is so bad, the state is embarrasing

Poor Zul’jan dragged through a portal Malacrass was quite interesting though
On another note, how many villains in WoW that are still alive from the previous expansions and yet they’ve been a no show

Now zuljan will become a raid boss who we will defeat at 5% HP then he will learn and be friendly and respect elves for saving his sister, right
I bet my 12ve year brother can write a better lore.

By me people hates this expansion just because it is not an old WoW, but things change. Everything changes even people so let the new people enjoy new things and you enjoy your ol Classic or MoP

This is why I’ve been looking into warhammer. Where real racial hatred’s and centuries of war and strife, where the setting as real grit and characters aren’t a bunch of pussies

I still think Ula'tex should have been a Loa that was guarding the Kth'raxxi and became warped by the Void. Then Zul'Jan find way to save her, but at the cost of the general escaping.

The art of this game is tragedy, the lore - dead, this is definition of trash product!
Amazing how they managed to ruin such a good game, this really takes some effort, good job!

Modern Blizzard truly does not understand the Amani and they have really twisted them into something ridiculous. The best character in this patch is Malacrass. Man. What a joke

Poor dude being written to look like he's weak, and constantly nattered at by the strong female characters that don't need no man. Garrosh would have went all the way.

This story is already better than dragonflight and war within and the main midnight campaign combined so far. Malacrass is already a far superior villain than xalatath.

I will never get how people can think that sacrificing their people is somehow saving their people. If you have no people to lead. what Empire do you have
