Sargeras betrayed the Pantheon of Order after discovering that the Void Lords intended to corrupt nascent world-souls into Dark Titans, which would allow the Void to permanently enter the physical universe. Upon returning to the Pantheon with this intelligence, he proposed purging all life from the cosmos to starve the Void, but his kin chastised him for previously cleaving a planet in two to destroy a corrupted world-soul, arguing they could have purged it without killing the soul within.
Refusing to accept their more cautious approach, Sargeras formed the Burning Legion to execute his radical solution. This led to the Battle of Nihilam, where Sargeras slayed his former student Aggramar and used his fel magic to obliterate the physical forms of the rest of the Pantheon, who were unable to withstand his power. Their spirits were later saved by Norgannon and eventually reunited with the world-soul of Argus to imprison Sargeras in the Seat of the Pantheon.

As an ongoing cancer survivor, Warcraft’s stories continue to be a source of comfort & relief. This is the best way I've found to introduce the wonderful World of Warcraft to old and new players alike, with its rich lore, characters and extreme potential. You can expect a retelling of in-game questlines, dialogue, adventures, cinematics & cutscenes to help players keep up with the ever evolving lore of the game.
It's an incredible experience from start to finish! If that sounds like you, then you're in the right place!

WhipLash42o Oh boy I can't wait for the moral greying of Sargeras's character. I'm excited to see how we justify his slaughter and massacre of over 100000 worlds and his crusade to extinguish all life in the cosmos. JK, Sargeras is a man. Unlike Azshara he won't get a retcon and complete lore rewrite so he can be an empowering girlboss.

AddamSolo Thank you, my dear friend Athelarius. There is a seed called Nigella Sativa. There is nothing that it cannot cure. Grind it and mix it with honey, eat it every morning and night. One tablespoon should be enough.

Subject_Keter Until they utterly kill the lore. I have the backbone to like what I liked in the past (mostly) Also unironically Mid-night makes the Jailer seem like a good bad guy.

ivomyh6200 Thank you for including Algalon's speech and the Titan's music at the end, too. One of the most epic scenes and places on Azeroth. reply
