Honestly, this and the X'era cinematic makes me think A LOT about how -light and dark- doesnt mean -good or bad- in World of Warcraft
X'era seems like a good being at first, but then tries to FORCE Illidan to become a being of light, as she probably did with. Uh. Holy dreadlord whatever he is called and brainwashing it in the process
While Alleria and her master use the power of the void, but THEY ARE NOT evil, or at least, it doesnt seem like they are, because the void lords dont control them and have free will, also Alleria is, from my point of view, not bad AT ALL
The shadow priest dagger also has interesting quotes:
-Do the Naaru talk of the eternal conflict? of those who came -before- the draenei? No? -
This could be (maybe) the ethereals
-The naaru think we are enemies they need to destroy, we on the other hand dont bother with that, they are just brothers and sisters who lost their way, they will return in time-
The fact Naarus can change from Light to Dark, and that they lie to their allies, they hide information (Turalyon DIDNT KNEW a Naaru could became a void lord)
Makes them not so. -good- as we probably thought until now
Until now I NEVER thought a Naaru, like the ones on Shattrath could be bad, and that the one on the sun well became a void lord because -he died-
But then I learned about the one in Oshu'gun, the one buried in Auchindoum, and the -Dark star- the Darkmoon orcs discovered in Draenor's skies
All of them beings of light, all of them beings of dark
In the end, light and dark are different sides of the same coin, a coin wich just wants to control the universe
Sadly Anduin's comic exist, so light basically has the plot armor of. -Not being bad-
But I think that the comic could actually be one of Velen's visions wich ARE NOT 100% accurate since they crashed on Draenor

So people give shit to Sylvanas for raising the dead as Forsaken, and giving them the choice of joining her people, returning to the grave, or going their own way, but when Alleria harnesses the power of the Void - you know, the place that -Sylvanas is even scared of- - everything's 'ight?
I mean, wasn't Alleria the one who's talking shit on Sylvanas because she's the leader of the Horde? Pretty hypocritical, considering the Horde is nowhere near as bad as the Void.

Wow it would be cool if any class in the game can choose the certain path, eg. path of the light, void, damned, etc during the gameplay and later on. Imagine being a hunter who took the path of the void, or warlock who took the path of necromancy, maybe a mage who took the path of blood and turned into a blood mage, etc. That is the true meaning of the class fantasy.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had a new class in the next expansion (or the one after that, since there was a new class in Legion) that used void magic, maybe called -voidbinder- or something. I know priests already do, but it seems like there's room for exploring it further, and the conflict between Light and Void is a big deal in the story.

I like how after this cinematic she is completely normal looking and barely has a reaction to the whole event, and no one else has much of a reaction. Some of the storytelling this expansion is clearly lacking. I still look forward to the new raid, even with this jumbled patch.
