Jaina meets Derek Proudmoore Cinematic. In 8. 1. 5, Baine organizes a secret meeting with Valeera and Jaina Proudmoore. At Theramore, Baine arrives with an undead Derek, Jaina's long-dead brother who was meant to be the vessel of Sylvanas' vengeance

When I began playing, I thought the Horde was just a bunch of savage brutes who cared nothing for the land or others around them, which is why I am an Alliance player to this day (that, and the Night Elves. Then I studied the races a little and found that the Taurens seemed vastly different from other Horde races, and they quickly became my second favourite of all playable races of both factions.
Baine cements this respect and admiration I feel for his kin, and has made me realise what the Horde truly should be. I'm far more respectful and friendly towards the Horde now than I used to.
For Azeroth, my fellow WoWers!

I never really liked the horde lore wise, but with every new expansion they become more and more vile. First it was Garrosh and now its Sylvannas. Who's next on the line of terrible leaders? Volgin was alright, but was immediately killed off. The only good I see coming to the horde is Bain becoming war chief, he at least has honor. Sylvannas kills and corrupts everything she touches. So I'm really hoping that a rebellion ensues that way the horde can get back on track and redeem themselves.

All more important than ever, what is condensed in this one scene. The madness of war instead of addressing other matters. (Although it is all the same problem complex with its symptoms)
But also, Derek, being VIP level, cynically speaking, can be a push for accepting the Forsaken as still their people, to overcome the stigma, because, after all, the issue there is quite the classically racist one, where apperance, biological traits matter so much that the person to it is devalued.

Hiya Folks, been waiting a long time for this one! Skip to 1: 46 for the cinematic itself. Or feel free to watch the entire clip for some good ol- heartwarming family feels. These cinematics just keep getting better and better, and the voice acting is, as always, top notch! Enjoy! -
P. S. Twenty copper says Sylvanas expected Derek to be freed and he's probably a sleeper agent. Oh dear: O

Deny it all she wants, Jaina keeps getting slapped in the face by her old beliefs in the Horde. Baine's not making excuses, only showing her she's neither completely wrong or right about the Horde; a hard pill for anyone to swallow since it's so much easier to see things in black and white.

I always had and will have respect for Baine. Since Legion I started to hate Sylvannas, even though I played in the Horde. But since Battle for Azeroth. FOR THE ALLIANCE!
By the way, what's the song's name at 5: 38? I love it and I felt like my body was electrocuted. :')

This storyline would've probably been interesting. if it hadn't been done already. Can we get a crazy Alliance split instead? Maybe something with how the Light is actually not that great? No? Oh well, wonder which Horde leader will go insane two expansions from now.

Someone need that to explane to the reality. even we have problems that will kill ourself and the future

BFA had the most character driven story I-ve seen in a wow xpac. I-d like to see Christie Golden given complete control to write a wow xpac story, rather than just the skeleton of one.

Bro imagine waking up 20 yrs later and being told you live to serve the zombie fetish queen only to be saved be a giant walking cow who delivers you to your little sister. and she's 40.

Okay, how come I get the cinematic in the game, but not the prior scene or the after scene of the cinematic? It always cuts to the actual cinematic on both Horde and Alliance. :)

All i can say in one words Arthes when he became the Lich King had changed the Faith of the Universe if he did not pick up the sword back then it would of been different now
reply

So much emotion in this cinematic, and the last cinematic we get was that shitty Ny'alotha ending. Cant even compare the two. I hope Shadowlands isnt going to be a disaster.
reply

Yo this is so uncool why do important npc's always get to change their faction like Derek and Valeera meanwhile us plebs are stuck in our places. #stopnpcprivilage

3: 23 Replace -the horde- with -blizzard- and -the earth mother- with -wow-, -Sylvanas will kill you- with -Bobby will fire you- and you get 2021 summarized

Jaina always being one word away from losing her stuff and after a single word from her brother, she is fine again #badacting
What a terrible character plot

reply

how stern Jaina is and stiff at the beginning shows how much hate she has gathered for the horde yet at the end, she is still well not hating Baine!
reply

You really gotta feel sorry for the Forsaken. They got a pretty raw deal in everything so it's cool to see one of them finally get something back.
reply

Welp, people had predicted that Sylvanas was the next Garosh. Glad to see the predictions true and Retail still as boring as ever.

Every character in WoW must be half French. They talk while flailing their hands about. just like all my French relatives do.
reply

Sylvannas: -Your chieftain is a traitor and I'm going to kill him for it. -
All the other tauren: -That's ok, I guess. -

reply

-No matter the storm, we will face it as family - except you cant come home or anything cus thatll be too weird sorry mate-
reply

baine has so much respect for everyone but himself thats why i love him hes the best horde leader beside thrall
reply

why were the alliance able to accept undead like derek but not sylvanas in the past when she was seeking refuge?
reply

0: 26 Ehm. Valeera? I think you forgot to destealth your pants. seriously, right now you are in your undewear.
reply

I am now wondering why the tauren wouldn't try to convince the horde about the peace they want, without harm
reply

0: 10 How ironic coming from Jaina. who sided with the horde to murder her people and even her own kin
reply

When Varian stormed Undercity with Jaina to avenge Bolvar, Valeera was also there. how could Jaina forget
reply

at least they are letting proudmoore act like something other than a jealous crazed woman for a change!
