This is WoWs biggest problem imo, they put emotionally mature, wise, compassionate leaders in every faction and expect their to be any kind of tension without having to manufacture comically evil for the sake of evil villains like Sylvanas.
This is all IMO but I just feel like the soil for story telling was richer when WoW's leaders were allowed to hold grudges, be prejudiced and greedy etc. etc. Because it allows for natural conflict and not -There is this big otherworldly evil and everyone has to ban together and oh- good job gg. Now sylvanas is evil but wait thats just because she was being mind controlled by this big otherworldy evil- Theres a bit of what I'm talking about with the primalists but a brand new evil thats never been mentioned before doesnt have the same impact as Varian Wrynn hunting green scalps or Garrosh nuking Theramore

They picked the worst character to become the aspect. Wraithon is a good choice, but i understand they wanted to go a different direction. So pick Emberthal instead, Emberthal was leading up to be a great aspect choice in the beginning of the expansion. But no they had to pick the worst possible choice with Ebyssian. He is a weak coward that would rather curl up in a corner and cry than do anything useful. Blizzard can't do anything right now a days. I really hope we get to kill Ebyssian in a later patch as a dungeon boss (he isn't raid material) and they pick a better Aspect going forward. Garrosh would be a much better Aspect than Ebyssian could ever hope to be, and Garrosh would probably kill the other flights, which would be bad. But at least Garrosh would care for the black dragon flight

Will the Ebyssian dragon, whose greatest accomplishments in life have been sitting all his life on High Mountain as if in a traffic cone and changing Myla Highmountais' diapers, be the new leader of the black dragonflight? Visible mediocrity from the devs attacking again. he was forced into that position with a horseshoe on a tauren's hooves. Wrathion has been around since Cataclysm working and acting and even fighting the old gods. A guy who didn't even do anything and has the motivation of a brick is going to be the one who decides how the black dragons are going to act? I hope no one on Blizzard's ridiculous lore team has had an aneurysm struggling to think of yet another peak of mediocrity.

Ebyssian was the most neutral in world politics. He deserves to lead. A clear mind is better than one that tips the scale. Let-s hope the whispers do not grow with his ascension. History- tends to repeat itself. May he not follow the path of his Father- for this feels similar to his ascension. Fan theory lol.

We have ushered in- their true coming. A symbol of hope, a beacon to light our path- we walk the stars eternally. awaiting our true victory-

Ebyssian can't become an Aspect yet, not for several centuries. A celestial event known as The Embrace is required for any dragonkin to ascend as an Aspect based on lore back from the Cataclysm. The last Embrace ascended Kalecgos as the legitimate Dragon Aspect of the Blue, it'll be over four centuries before the next Embrace occurs. Ebyssian an Aspect in name only, not in actual power, because there's more to becoming an Aspect than mommy Alexstrasza acknowledging you.

I dont remember the names. But that tauren black drake was always the chillest of them all. Kinda cool he made it to be the aspect in the end. Especially after all the conflict at the beginnign of the expansion between the 2 brothers

Not gonna lie, we all thought Sabellian was gonna become aspect and betray us, and we also thought Wrathion would become aspect, but Ebbysian taking the spotlight as aspect is just great, i need to imagine his aspect model now.

Weak. This is what modern WoW is missing. They are not creating new convincing heroes other than warcraft universe. Deathwing was a badass, Ebyss-whatever is just taking up a mantle. What does it mean? Why should we respect the guy?

3 expansions of hyping us up with the thought that Wrathion will become the future aspect just to leave him in the dark and give it to some random dragon who was hiding in the mountains for centuries. I don't feel like it's right.

Wrathion advancing his own agenda without the burden of the Earth Warden's mantle is the right choice. He can do all the shady things we all like him for - but now reigned in by Ebyssian's lead. Great choice!

Honestly. blizzard still was not able to kind of. animate the jaw movements SOMEHOW realisticly? I mean. come ON -generic jaw moving loop- and then NOTHING although the continue talking!
