It's not really much of a response to those claiming they are getting banned due to approved controllers, graphics cards etc. Since GZ was banned earlier in the release of the game, ignored for months, then they finally reviewed his account ban AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE A FALSE POSITIVE DUE TO HIS GRAPHICS CARD.
He already started another account and by the time Blizzard got around to actually reviewing his ban, that account was so far behind that there was little point getting it back. Blizzard owed him a refund, IMO.
This is a very well documented case of their cheat detection software being wrong. Mistakes happen. That's not really the issue.
What is inexcusable is taking months to review. And that GZ actually got a valid review is nothing short of a miracle. Usually, all you get is a clueless game master who basically re-affirms that the account has been flagged for cheating (no sh! t, Sherlock, but who then doesn't look into the actual cause of the ban in the first place. In other words, no satisfaction whatsoever.
As you know, no reason is ever given.
This response didn't really reduce fear in the DI community bcz it did not at all address those who are wrongfully banned via Blizzard/NetEase's defective cheat detection software.
Regarding account sharing: yup. Even having your kid play your account is technically a violation of ToS. I have a friend on another game whose kid spent 6 months of a saved up resource on garbage purchases in game. They were kind enough to refund it since he wasn't allowing his kid on his device, the kid picked it up while the user got distracted elsewhere. Still, he did not password protect his device, and a few weeks later, same kid did the same thing. That time, they did not refund bcz one grace should be enough.
Blizzard wouldn't even give one grace.
Frankly, I'd never let anyone touch my account. I think you need to be very brave to let someone pilot your account.
Notice also, they did not discuss buying and selling of accounts.

Or maybe they were so deformed or covered in blood that she was unsure of their gender during the fight
Anyway, this was very good. Elements of it remind me of a sci-fi, biopunk, horror anime called 'Exception' although ultimately they're two very different stories.

I really like the story and the production quality: )
One thing though: They had all those people in cryosleep. Why did they not simply kill them No need to waste a ship and its crew. Or just send the ship into the nearest star. No need to risk anyone surviving and infecting a whole planet. So, yes, the synopsis is a bit off. But the rest is great!

This indicates a Charlie Foxtrot of epic proportions.
Grabbing a life raft and ejecting. I don't want to stick around and see how this diversity (and/or nepotism) hire gets everyone killed.

This was the best collaboration I've listened too. I usually don't like collabs. The mixed match of microphones/environments usually is so noticeable that it takes away from the story. This, however, was top notch sound editing. It was like a movie with a big budget. Hats off. Loved it.

Not a bad story, however, the professionalism of the characters was set so low that it’s cringeworthy. I sure hope humans don’t regress that much then again looking at the current state of affairs it’s probably hopeless.

Wow, two of the most unbelievable characters in the same story has to be intentional. No way two people as incompetent as the captain and doctor would be put in charge of anything. I'm all for inclusion when it is believable.
