You've got to be kidding me. 43: 00 she was mad and threatened to leave and take their child. But now she's freaking out. because he left and took their child. Now, the whole world has to bend to help her. But what about her threat to him
The gynocentrism wears thin. Is the author oblivious
He broke every toy she had!
But it started when she got mad about the girl enjoying a particular toy. So the mother threw it away, and threatened to leave and take the child away from the father. So. he only did exactly what she had done/threatened.

Marion Zimmer Bradley, considering she is a famous author, got very lazy when naming her hero. Race Cargill. It’s a good job I’ve read her other books. The name of the hero nearly put me off. Anything is better than race. Joe, Bill, Art, Charlie, Spud, Ben, Chalkie, Snowy, Dan, any bloody thing. Instead we get Race. Why didn’t she drop the R. Make it Ace. It could hardly be more cheesy.

This story while very well read seems to be really neurotic. Almost like it's the second in a series

I might listen to this, but i really wish the narrator didn’t tell us what the story is about.

The ending has a bit of deus ex machina feel to it, but it's an otherwise enjoyable listen.

33: 00 the idea of the protagonist having to roust out an elevator operator made me laugh
