THE RICH MAN'S WIFE, FATHERHOOD, DIE ANOTHER DAY and PRESENTING DOROTHY DANDRIDGE are ALL better than most of the films on your list. and in MONSTER'S BALL, Halle gave me three of the greatest scenes I have watched in nearly 70 years. She BEATS her son, but her own pain is so intense we feel MORE sorry for her. SHE seduces Billy Bob Thornton with carefully nuanced body language, touching and vocalization. Finally, when she discovers Billy Bob Thornton executed her husband, she sits on a porch next to Thornton, silently expressing rage, vindictiveness, empathy, then finally contented resignation, just using her face and in less than a minute. It is the greatest single acting scene I have ever watched.

Boomerang, Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, Why do fools fall in Love, The Wedding, and Queen are some of my favorites that are not mentioned. Why do fools Fall in Love is the one I liked the most. I also enjoyed her first role in Jungle Fever as the crack head girlfriend of Sam Jackson.

I liked her in The Call, Kidnap, Gothika, Catwoman and Die Another Day. She could have had her own franchise of movies as Jinx, a female version of James Bond.

I think Die Another Day should have been mentioned. Maybe not the Best James Bond film, but Halle is one of the Best Bond Girls. Overall she's brilliant.
