I think the Russo's understand that they aren't building up to Doom. Doom is as they phrased it in Endgame the multiverse messing back with everything since then. You nailed the actual concept of what it should be with the phrasing alone. 2 minutes to fix 6 years. Like Endgame had 1 literal minute to fix 5 years. And everything born from that one minute leads to Doom.
The trailer needs to establish the stakes. The fact that all these stories we grew up with are actually on their final few minutes and between them on screen they're deciding who goes on and who doesn't. They don't even need to build up to Doom specifically cause it's not his overwhelming force that makes him the master. It's how balanced he is. The Doom skeleton need not be shown just the dialogue exchange before that. The Russo's understand it's not just the last 6 years. It's every live action marvel story ever told reaching it's conclusion. The way they understood the multiple narratives of the separate groups in IW. D&W was that without the narrative that M&M and the Russo's mastered. The trailer itself shows how epic his plan is. By pitting the only people he lost to against each other. I'm sure you're also right that it'll be more of a teaser and it can show how big the marvel cinema project really was. Framed as one man manipulating everything and everyone that came before it while teasing that he can indeed back all that up. As he faces the combos different generations dreamed about growing up.
God, I need Nic Cage Ghost Rider riding alongside Doug Jones/Fishburne Surfer punching Dormammu in the face while they meet 616-Strange. Then Bana lands behind him as SPIDER-SUPREME lands. Since 617 Strange is 100% Raimiverse Strange and where was his cloak With his apprentice Peter 2.
Tease the exchange all trailer. During the Thanos parts eveal the Avengers in play. During the Doom parts everyone else. And the actual 30 seconds of meat are just the narrative driven crossovers, like The Marvels (actually including G'iah this time) get worked by Norton reprising his Banner for one scene as Maestro since he wanted to make Hulk a villain and that plus the Radiohead soundtrack is why he was ultimately fired according to Louis Letterier. Who also spoke about his difficulty as a producer but that he understood the character so he rolled with it. Just for Professor Marvel to pull up with Binary & Both versions of Marvel Girl in the Red and Green fits. Talking about I was looking everywhere for y'all. Debating who gets him. I know she going through it. But God imagine if Anna Paquin landed in front of both them in the green and yellow while dropping a Suga' on Maestro. I don't need Doom I need to know what the hell they've been teasing and why it's worth my time. I could care less about the new story. I actually want to see the interactions they keep teasing. Cause so many amazing ones that only don't exist cause of corporate greed exist. God. Hugh Jackman was gonna do the first avenger whether Fox let him or not as an uncredited soldier. They just scrapped the D-day scenes in honor of historical accuracy. But they showed some of the cut footage in The Smithsonian and Zola videos. There's no way he's not in this. Just show Jackman actually respecting Captain America. Like a quick scene with Sam and Bucky pulling up on a AvX skirmish involving the New AvengerZ facing an X-Force led by Jimmy. Who Bucky recognizes. Jimmy recognized Sargeant Barnes. Salutes Cap. Thinks it's crazy that their variant can fly and then gets sucker punched by Bob who finally steps in at the worst time. Brolin Cable not Brolin Thanos in the final scene.
The losses given to the one Doom who survived the First Kang war. Who lived in the 616 before Kang ever touched it. Who knows how things should be and returns to an imitation of the world he lived in. Maybe he was the adopted child of Howard and Maria through Phase 3, but was always born a Doom. But I hope he's his own person and the last survivor of the original universe ready to end the experiment Kang created. So he found the best versions of all these heroes and some villains across the multiverse and forced the multiverse onto it's knees with his mind, and understanding of more of the universe than anyone we see. He need not be the most powerful, the smartest, or the most magically gifted. I hope they save the Thanos scene for opening day. The Russo's broke the Internet with Underoos, they understand it's not all spectacle sometimes one perfectly marvelous moment captures exactly that feel a lot of us had as kids reading those comics, watching those cartoons and the realization of seeing that represented in live action. That magic is what the Russo's understand better than anyone. It comes from the story itself not from the need to be epic. The characters are epic and as Nebula puts it. That's enough.
I'm hyped if anyone can do this it's the Russo's. In the Russo's we trust

Hmm, I don't think using Thanos as a scapegoat will really make an impact. I've read several stories that try the same trick, and honestly, I never felt connected to any of them. Sure, it creates a sense of power, but it’s a very shallow, almost boring kind of powerful. It feels more like a shortcut than meaningful storytelling.
If they actually gave proper time for Thanos to be challenged, defeated, or outsmarted in a way that respects his legacy, then maybe it could work. A meaningful defeat can be satisfying. But if Doom just walks in and kills him within a few minutes, then good for you, Doom, I guess. That kind of moment doesn’t build depthit just screams, Look how strong this new villain is! without earning it.
Stories like this need emotional weight, not speedruns. Otherwise, it’s just spectacle with no soul.

So brother please canadian lad you need to listen to this please pleaseeee.
What if the doom in the fantastic four first steps is not the final doom, rather there is a big bad doom hidden in plain sight all along.
What if the time line that steve rogers arrived from at the end of avengers endgame is the branched new reality, in which the tony stark will be born, but with his parents living now because the rogers must have prevented the assassination of parents of stark, then the tony stark born there will be a privileged and arrogant version of him, not the heroic one, then that stark will become like the superior ironman version, and becoming maybe evil one.
That is the doom hidden in plain sight.
Please see my comment. Love from India
Please consider this idea.

6: 51 Talk about general audience, Marvel maybe shot on their foot when they decided to make TV series that affects too much to the main story like Loki, Wanda&Vision, . Not everyone has a chance to watch all those TV series. As a Marvel fan like me, I am happy to watch more movies, but I dont actually love the fact that I must watch all those TV series to understand what is going on in front of me when I am in a theater (like Cap 4, CM2. That what Marvel didn't do in their prime, and that makes general audience went crazy with IW, EG even they just hear about Marvel.
So, make a trailer that hypes fan and also general audience without using nothing relate any TV series, I think it is quite hard for Marvel.

What if Tony Stark learns magic because he wanted to know about the 1 successful outcome out of 14 million possibilities. After Dr. Strange got snapped, Tony got brought back to Earth and the first thing he did was to learn magic and become the Sorcerer Supreme just to learn about that 1 possibility to defeat Thanos. Since the time stone was destroyed, he got in touch with the darkhold to find a way to defeat Thanos in different realities and it eventually corrupted him. After that, he turned into Dr. Doom and proceed to start taking over the multiverse. This theory is crazy but I'm just giving my personal thoughts.

I just hope that the Doomsday concept art is real because I love Doctor Doom's medieval armor design I love the heck out of the images I've seen they look insane, Marvel just please PLEASE give that same vibe they have to the whole movie! The battleworld thing sounds absolutely awesome it is exactly what they need to shake things up completely make use of the multiverse and have a huge crossover event at the same time it's literally PERFECT for what Marvel needs right now! don't let us down with any more disappointing imagine what it could have been's!

1: 41 i mean instead of doctor doom there supposed to be Kang conqueror and kang had huge buildup like he appeared in both seasons of Loki and in ant-man quantumania and we could see how powerfull kang is and how many of him will appear but because jonathan majors did what he did and got fired kang's role was replaced with doctor doom so because we got avengers doomsday instead of avengers kang's dynasty there wasn't any goodd movie to put doctor doom in like if doctor doom replaced kang at the start we would have bigger doctor doom buildup

Or show RDJ as Tony Doom doing Iron Man-ish stuff for the first minute of the trailer, events look familiar but also seems like something about it is different, darker tone, dark decisions, at moments where then original MCU Tony showed kindness this version showed disgust or lacked mercy. And the later designs of his suit get greener and more Doom-like and ends with him dragging the skeleton or innards from Thanos at the end. And his narration is something about he’s the only one who can save the universe.

The only thing that marvel needs to be careful is the bait. Not show too much same time keep the audiance at the edge of whats to come. In addition theirs a lot on plot and cover thats gonna be expnding due to the expansion of the multiverse and not create more alternate unnecessary storytelling that will take away from the main plot. Im glad marvel is taking the long and narrow then in details that will just confuse and create uninterest in the timeline thanos has already created

So Johnny Storm looked an awful lot like a young Tony Stark in Fantastic Four so my theory is that Dr Doom is actually the little kid all grown up and the Storm family is related to the Starks but in a different timeline with entirely different familial outcomes - I don't actually theorize this so much as think it would be incredibly cool validation of the casting choice they made for Johnny to look as much like RDJ did in that de--aged scene from Civil War

Aaand it's not gonna do that. how am I suppose to by hyped over characters I never seen before, that were locked behind a subscription paywall. and people who have seen them agree that most of the shows and characters are ass. Tony being dr. Doom is ass too. Plenty of actors could have fit the role, but nope. And didn't they pay this man 100m for the role Their gonna have to make 4 billion for both films total to break even

There's nothing they can do to save mcu, except for a full reboot.
Captain America retired, Iron Man died, Thor and Hulk got character assassinated, Black Panther actor died, there's almost no Avengers left. Spider-man and Dr. Strange can't carry the whole team on their backs. Even if they make Dr. Doom the most epic villain in movie history, there are no cool heroes I would want to watch fighting him.

My guess is they will just show doom obliterate the kang council, kill loki then go on his mission defeat every avenger individually and in secret wars win and then they're gonna build him up in 3-4 movies the plot would be they were not ready for such an anamoly and it was so instant that they didn't have time to ready up and then they'll team up in next 3-4 movies strategize and then defeat Dr doom.

As much as I would like to see the MCU bounce back, I feel like having a yearlong gap between a film's first teaser and its official debut is too long of a wait to retain full attention. There's a lot more potential for leaks, overhype, and mixed messaging. Personally, I'd rather wait a year for a official first teaser and get an official debut a month or two later.

Am i the only one that thinks that showing doom killing thanos for the im the bigger guy now is not the best idea
In what if At least we knew ultron from before and he had episodes to back him up with his power, but with doom I fear a kaguya escenario.
A bigger threat that appear out of nowhere taking out the actual good written villain.

Please erase every single woke garbage after the Endgame, including the thunderbolt which has a girl-boss leader, also, erase Guardians of Galaxy 3, because the ending has characters that no one cares in the new team, such as that little Asian girl. Only keep Spiderman No Way Home, it is the only movie that is 100% NOT woke after the Endgame.

Doctor doom ripping out the skull and spine of Thanos would look iconic. But it would probably make the movie R rated, and since profit is going to be a decent priority for Disney, that seems unlikely, because if you have a PG-13 movie, you will pull in more people. There's been two different, one p g 13, and an R rated version seems unlikely

Making 30 different trailer cuts within two months of wrapping up the filming is impossible. the trailer will need to undergo intense CGI to hide the tiniest spoilers possible. provided the history and the number of decoders online.
They might have thirty different ideas for the trailer. not 30 different cut versions

The trailer will release few days before the release of Avatar so a lot of people sees it because both avatar made like 2 billion.
But I agree with the rushed doom appearance, whole infinity saga was build up for end game but now, feels rushed that they needed some big villain instead of Kang, but its for the best.

Teaser would be shot by shot or a little bit glimpse of Sam's Avengers, ThunderbultsThe New Avengers, Wakanda, F4, X-Men, TVA, and Dr. Doom with a mask while setting in a throne. Of course, flashback from Avengers Endgame, probably Tony Stark's death and Steve Rogers' going back in time to return all the infinity stones.
