WHAT IF Season 2 Finale Gave Me a Headache!

WHAT IF Season 2 Finale Gave Me a Headache! I can forgive Kahori being yet another negative stereotyped 'Overpowered Strong Female Character' because it's her origin. I can forgive Carter getting all the Macguffins because she's a middle-tier hero trying to punch actual elder gods in the schnoz, she's going to need the plot armor to stay relevant. I can even forgive Good-Hela and Lawful-Nebula for being left out of the end despite the fact that their characters were specifically designed to mesh well with Carter and Kahori in a female-majority hero group.
I cannot forgive Strange Supreme losing literally all of his character growth from the first season and drinking the idiot juice. The entire last episode reeked of bad writing and studio oversight and it's simply infuriating so see it.

1. Marvel’s first over powered characters were Tony Stark, Thor and Hulk. And currently the most powerful character of everyone is Loki.
2. Your issue with Killmonger was also done to Thanos in What if season one. I think Kahhori destroying Killmonger that way was used as a comedic purpose. And to show she is stronger than him. But then this makes Dr. Strange an bigger threat than we the audience thought. This then leads to other characters throwing their weapons to Peggy to defeat him. And it also elobrates more on Mr. Fantastic saying, the greatest danger to the Multiverse, it turns out, is Doctor Strange.
3. You suggest the show shouldn’t be connect but meanwhile fans want everything connect. You guys got to make up your mind.

I get the feeling one of the aspect of the show is now catching, and that’s the canonization. When it was first announced, it was described as their Twilight Zone for their MCU films as to their comic counter that has decades of moments for new interesting tales such as What if the Hulk had the brain of Bruce Banner or what if Peter Parker became the Punisher But when it’s connected to the wider MCU narrative, we have been hesitant. So far season 2 to me is decent and I would have to agree with you about the last three episodes. Kinda feel they were rushing or missed something that I got distracted to some moments that is cool but my brain was off for those moments.

Episode 6 to me just felt like an Avatar rip-off. The story was similar, the color theme was exactly the same i. e. blue and both had same premise of having tribal/alien people. I think ep 7 and 8 were fine but 6 and 9 were awful. They completely ruined the character of Strange Supreme in ep9. He went through a good character development arc in season 1 where he realised the mistake he did by trying to bring her back, and it was nice to watch. That made us like the character, but here they just completely ruined that by making him evil again. Also, they made him seem so weak, it didnt even feel like normal Doctor Strange let alone Strange Supreme

It seems like you have concerns about Marvel's portrayal of female characters and their roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Representation and diversity are important aspects of storytelling, and Marvel is striving to reflect that in their films and shows. By introducing strong female characters like Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) and Shuri (from Black Panther, Marvel is providing more opportunities for women to see themselves represented on screen and inspiring audiences of all genders. It's about broadening the scope of narratives and giving different characters a chance to shine. Like harley and more. its just a suggestion not depowering the womens

I still hate this episode for what they did to Strange Supreme, dude was one of What If's best character. they just butchered his character for message and propaganda.
What are these messages on movies trying to achieve It probably will make less money, it ain't gonna sell female toys, and it does ruin a good movie universe. Really hate these movie trends, hope it stops. Anime is probably the end of the line, but ruined by dubbers and translators, hope they get replaced by AI.
I won't watch Marvel movies and series now, except if it's really really good and interesting. Don't care any Multiverse connectivity no more.

ok I'm sure that most of us are gonna be on the same page that after infinity saga, MCU has just become BAD, very very bad, now to understand what is happening in a movie you have to watch probably 3-5 seperate shows, just to figure out what's happening in the movie, man it was so good when it just used to be some movies every year, it was so fun, don't get me wrong, i loved the loki s1&2 and moon knight, but anything else didn't interest me that, and I just want to make it clear that I'm not a hater, I'm just very disappointed to see my favorite studio becoming like this

This season was all over the place Lad. They destroyed the idea of What If. Kahhori was so OP she made the ancestors look weak because she only needed 5mins to master powers and even manipulate the portal but nobody else could. Peggy was just urgh. And Strange being the villian was very lazy also how can he travel the Multiverse wasn't he stuck in his dead universe for basically eternity. Nah this season was just a massive waste of time and a bore with only flashes in the pan here and there

In general terms, season 2 was good, its good chapters were not as good as the best of S1 but it was good, but this Finale is Pathetic, the charm of the end of S1 was that they connected and continued 8 episodic chapters in 1, with well-characterized characters, creative powers and an interesting villain, this ending I don't connect all the episodes, the characters were boring or directly ruined, terrible power scale and they peed on Strange Supreme and its development, regrettable

okay, pretty valid points except for the kahori vs killmonger. It was great cause if you see that the original plan in Infinity War was to remove the gauntlet kahori who had teleportation power just removed him from the suit like the OG plan but more efficiently. and I think that it was great cause there are so many simple solutions to complex problems like ultron cutting thanos in half, or antman up the butt it's foolish but it is a simple solution

3: 38 she did not undo all the past stuff, that’s like saying sentry walking in and taking out any villain we’ve had so far at their peak would be undoing their achievements, false af, it’s called being out classed, and tbc, since you won’t be honest, he didn’t loose to her, she removed the suit, like come on you even show the footage of it while describing it entirely wrong, guess honesty isn’t getting you views huh

Finally! Someone actually talking about the facts! I absolutely love how this man just straight up spoke his mind!
I thought I was the only one who thought how bad the season 2 was. Do not get me wrong but Bland was the perfect one word description for the Kahori episode. It just did not make any sense to me.
And in the end her power seem to overpower everything which was straight up nonsense.

WHAT IF S1 was much more consistent ep to ep and the finale was much better.
Although I like Kahhori she is absurdly powerful with little to no real explanation. Yes she 'bathed' in the space stone pool & all that but near the finale she's able to teleport an Infinity Killmonger (who had ALL stones, & was able to hold her own against Supreme Strange who also held his own against Infinity Ultron.

I liked the slightly darker tone of the first season. That the main movie timeline is one of very few that survives the harsh challenges of emence power and villains using it.
The second season's happy go lucky vibe felt out of place. Sure, there were some nice episodes like the first one and Steve Rogers being Robin Hood, but the racing episode with Stark and the last episode. Really

I don't like this s2 final episode because, Supreme strange ate a universe destroying power just like that in s1 finale, him defeated by M-SHE-U is causing to hate this episode, rest is of the episode in s2 is alright, but it will never beat s1 episodes for me atleast
I didn't hate the female superheros, i hate that Supreme strange powers is scaled down to match with those heros

reply

Hot take, but I honestly don't feel that the episodes should connect to each other at all. I like the idea of a Black Mirror type of project for the MCU where anything can happen, but it's limited to that storyline. The episodes can be a little longer to properly flesh out the stories and they can release all of the episodes at the same time so the finale won't feel underwhelming.
reply

3: 16 man, yeah, saying the kahhori episode is bad is now your newest low, I’ll finish this to see if you go sike, but I doubt it and this is a loss of a sub for you, I refuse to help a content creator who lies, makes shit up, and can’t even give accurate coverage, like your slowed down hidden details are awesome, but wow, this has become an anti fan show
reply

nothing for their arcs, I’m seriously convinced you didn’t watch these episodes now like wow my dude, that’s the worst tale I’ve heard you say about this besides what if being called captain carter, like season 1 had her in the two part finale and one other episode, but no character arcs, you blind, never watched it, or lying, but it’s one of those
reply

Captain carter and dr strange had really much screentime, but i still like this evil strange, we know how he got so strong because of this i think it's ok, that he is really strong, canadian lab was right about captain carter how tf could she use all of the infinity stones without hurting herself, this was not the best they could write and animate.
