The story could be told in many ways. Sometimes as a whisper of warning, sometimes a shout of defiance! Always with reverence.
The Barmen will always remember the day Bandit exacted revenge.
Fingers jab at a display whilst flames burn red then blue until blinding white as its backdrop. The sound is deafening. Air screeching a tormented protest of being ripped apart. The HUD projects land masses angles of trajectory then warns of impact survival predictions.
The derelict of a tower block explodes as hit from one side by a projectile.
A motorway services sign explodes as the same projectile bursts through it.
Rusted shells of abandoned vehicles scatter as this pin ball projectile plows a deep furrow into the now overgrown motorway.
The capsule churns tarmac & dirt into a molten slag before coming to rest.
Time is counted by ticks and clicks. Material transformed from molten to glass. The capsule shows few signs of damage other than a slight scuffing of paint. Emblazoned across its forward facing hatch are the words, Pitcher plant. The pods door bursts open, blasted outwards by a gun welding, very angry looking woman. In one arm holding a massive gun. In the other, a severed head.
The head, still very much alive, rebukes her, Madam this is not the behaviour we expect of our clientele! It considers its words & then adjusts, Menu items are not expected to fight back! On further retrospective it complains, I shall have to register a strong complaint with Mr Bigman about, his latest delivery!
Bandit climbs from the capsule, Not a problem mate, we are going to do that in person.

I really hate women who feel the need to prove that their balls are bigger than the man's. Not so big without her big gun now is she. Interesting plotline, somethings were off in some scenes, (you could see the glue on his sideburns, why were the barman's bottom teeth bad if he's a robot The acting left a lot to be desired, you could practically hear her reading the lines off in her head. Hard to hear the vocals with the knife sharpening going on.

Too much unreal girl power for me and why a moran for a guy, should of been another girl then I would thing you were slamming the male's role in this short. I guess he would have to be a moran to hang with her. Storyline is just marginal but works and effects are okay. sound quality is the worst of all. The cinema-scope is cheap. This works as a short never make it if was 20 minutes long.

Give me a break. Man acting like a wimp while butchy female comes in with a weapon heavier than her. When is this push for femininizing men and masculating women going to stop. Nothing realistic in any of this type of nonsense entertainment.

I liked the concept and the name of the bar. However, seeing two seemingly military trained people be slaughtered by a knife wielding roomba was a bit ridiculous to me. At least have the droid transform and do some real butt-kicking.

was the bad acting by the girl on purpose The whole thing was a bit of a comedy so it could have been. Plus the ridiculous three barrelled weapon, which, if it were real, she could not have lifted to a usable level.

Pretty good, although I had to rewind the last couple of minutes to try and figure out what the Android was saying. The comments about the poor audio were spot on. Overall, I enjoyed this film.
reply

I really enjoyed this. It's a little wacky. The wastelanders' dialogue and interactions were amusing. I don't understand how people could watch this and not think it was fun.

The music really ruined several parts of this. Too loud. Too intrusive. Too demanding. It wouldn’t have been good without it. Just maybe not as bad. This was unpleasant
reply

I think the point is that when the guy hands over those round things to the woman that something is bound to go wrong.
I rather guess that from the first 3 seconds.

reply

I tolerated this until the character slowly reading the entirety of a sign that we just saw clearly.
It's a no from me.

. and shitty sound design ruins another movie. do these filmmakers even try to listen to the master before they publish

WTH, Dust How is this gruesome ending of two humans 'Hopeful Not Dystopian' Perhaps 'hopeful' to whom Not the humans that's for sure.
reply

Ah, a good old fashion, cheesy, campy Sci-Fi comedy! Sometimes that's just the sort of thing to put a smile on my face.
reply

Pitcher Plant- right there at the beginning, and still got pulled in -- Liked the woman actor, her gun was great
reply

Whoever designed that gun needs to rethink it. It's way too big and clumsy. Dialogue is also a bit corny. at moist.

Android (artificial life form) with bad British teeth. Somebody in casting or makeup really dropped the ball.
reply

Unusually weak for DUST. Using the first minute for credits should have tipped me off, but DUST is usually so good.
reply

The sound was so bad that I stopped seeing it, first time in more than 50 movies. CAPTIONS DAMNIT!
reply

Extremely poor voice-sound, couldn't hear a thing, but we got the gist of it, and it was good!
reply

Scary thing to leave lying around. A malfunctioning killer android. I guess to him meat is meat.
reply

Well.
So. What's the House Special
Macabre to say the least.
Interesting twist!

reply

This was a lot of fun to watch! Comedy and creepiness all wrapped up in a delicious dish!
reply

Looks great, but I lasted until 1: 30 and had to step away because of the acting. Sorry.
reply

Somehow a chick with a British accent completely fails to sound intimidating
reply

Always with the waaaaaamons empowerment in these shows. Getting very old
reply

Oh wow guys this is junk. Surprised because your work is usually good.
reply

Excellent. not my usual genra. but fun and short. :. 2 thumbs up. :)
reply

Best things about that movie were the sci-fi movie posters dotted around.
reply

The android was the best actor by far. and that isn't saying much.
reply

Yeah.
NO!
Just a little TOO bizarre for my tastes. YIKES!

reply

This is classic short film quality! Focus hunting, the whole 9. Love it!
reply

Stylistically clever and intriguing. Audio nearly unintelligible.
reply

Idea - good - 4/5
Audio - bad - 2/5
Casting - awful - 1/5

reply
