Similar sort of story I read a long time ago. Guy has a magic ring that resets time by five minuets every time he pushes the gem. He gets on an airplane and the plane is hit by a meteor and is destroyed. He's sitting in the back of the plane when the front half falls off. He resets several times trying to get to the cockpit fast enough to get them to turn and be missed by the meteor and of course fails every time. Eventually he's falling to his death and he keeps resetting because he doesn't want to die.

Jonah was absolutely breathtaking! Recognized Daniel Kaluuya right away, thought the other friend looked familiar too - Malachi Kirby of Roots remake fame! Both films were fantastically acted, but Jonah is one I will rewatch and share for sure.

Re: Jonah, I didn't get the very end, when the fish is back to having all the detritis stuck to it. I thought once it swallowed Jonah all the bad stuff was undone.

Around and after minute 4, the cube feels like jumping around that table from view to view But it can't be several different repetitions together as the positions are always the same.
